Eight kids stood in a circle, all holding hands. Amongst them were Bill Denbrough, Beverly Marsh, Ben Hanscom, Mike Hanlon, Eddie Kasprak, Richie Tozier, and Y/n L/n. They all were looking at the ground. There wasn't anything on the ground, in particular, they were just reflecting. Reflecting on everything that happened.

Y/n and Beverly, being taken by Pennywise. All of them almost dying. They never expected it to happen. But that's the thing, you never expect this kind of thing. They never thought that this would bring them closer, and bring them together. Even more, they never expected Y/n L/n to talk to them. They never thought they would be considered friends to her.

Y/n looked up and sighed. "Guys─" she paused, and all of them turned their attention to her. "─can I say something?" she asked. All of them nodded, and she took a deep breath. "Before this summer, I never expected that I would be friends with you guys. I remember looking at Richie, Bill, Eddie, and Stanley, and admiring you guys' friendship. It's genuine, and that's hard to get." She spoke, genuinely. She looked up and saw that the boys were smiling. "Beverly, even though it didn't seem like it, I tried to stop the bullying. I noticed that it never stopped, but it died down a bit. I think that you're awesome, and everyone else just sucks, for not thinking the same." She continued. Now, Beverly was smiling. "Ben, I don't even have words for you. You're amazing. You have such a kind heart, and you really care for people, even if they treat you badly. I like that." Ben chuckled at her words. "And Mike, I didn't know you at all before this summer, and that's good. I think if I knew you before this, we wouldn't have been friends. But I'm really glad we are. And just a side note, you're not like your dad, and I think you'll do good in the world." She smiled. A tear slipped down her cheek, and she chuckled. "Oh and there's something I want to do." She grabbed a marker out of her pocket, getting blood on its white casing. Walking up to each of the losers, she wrote the word 'loser' on their arm, then she walked back to her spot.

"Y/n, you forgot me," Richie said, confused.

Y/n chuckled, "That was intentional, dummy." She made her way over to the boy, and on his wrist, wrote the word 'lover' before returning to her spot. He looked up at the girl, and smiled. Making his way over to her, all of the losers watched, knowing what was going to happen.

"So, I guess, I'm the crush you were talking about?" He asked. a look of hopefulness in his eyes. Y/n nodded and a shy grin, made its way onto her face. "Well, I guess it's a good thing that I like you too." He placed his hand on the back of her neck, and kissed her. Her eyes widened, before she kissed back. The kiss lasted for a good ten seconds before they pulled away, both blushing.

"Finally!" Stanley yelled. The losers all looked at him, and laughed.

Slowly, all of the losers parted ways, ready to try and forget about the horrible summer they had. They knew they wouldn't forget it, though. It would be forever engraved in their minds. But that's okay because there were some parts of that summer, that shouldn't be forgotten.
