Ch. 6

Mingyu's P.O.V

What am I doing?

I thought while making my way at the beach to meet the guy who isn't getting out of my head since last night.

Since I woke up I couldn't forget what he said to me yesterday, I had the urge to see him and be around him. So, I asked Jeonghan if my schedual is clear and got a yes. My mind was telling me to stop but my body was currently in the car waiting to arrive at the beach. I just had to see him for no reason.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by Jeonghan opening my door.

"Why are we at the beach sir?" he asked while closing the car door, "I don't even know" I said while looking around the beach to find the one person I've been thinking about.

"Is it the boy from yesterday? I didn't know you swung that way" Jeonghan said while slightly smirking, I felt my face flush and looked at him, "Shut up Jeonghan, I don't swing that way" I said while rolling my eyes and turning around.

I'm not interested in him, I don't even swing that way

After the comment Jeonghan said I wanted to leave, but I couldn't.

"You know you can trust me?" I heard him say with a small smile on his face, I nodded my head and gave him a little smile.

"Mingyu!!"

I heard my name and already knew who it was. I turned my head and saw Wonwoo running towards me with a big smile, and I could feel my heart do something but I can't describe it. "You came" he said as he stood in front of me with a bright smile, "No, I was just taking a walk around the beach" I lied to him, but didn't know why. I heard Jeonghan scoff beside me and roll his eyes. "I'll be leaving now to park the car somewhere sir, I hope you have a fun time walking" he said as he walked to the car and drove off.

"Sir? Why does he call you sir?" I heard Wonwoo say as he looked at the car driving off, "He works under me and has to call me sir" I said as I looked at him, "That's stupid, just because someone's under they shouldn't be forced to be called sir" he said with furrowed eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and looked at the beach.

Why did I even come here?

"Anyways, let's go for another adventure" Wonwoo said as he turned around and started walking off toward the beach, I sighed but followed him. "Did you bring shorts?" he said and reminded me of what he told me yesterday. I realized what he said and looked at him, "No, I told you I only came here to walk" I lied again so I wouldn't feel embarrassed. I heard Wonwoo chuckle and it sounded like the most beautiful sound in the world.

"Well, your lucky because I brought spare shorts" he replied, and I realized he was was in his normal outfit. Shorts and shirt. "What are we doing?" I asked him as curiosity took over me, "You'll see" he said as he started to run towards the ocean, I took my time and walked. "We're here" Wonwoo said while turning around. I looked to see a boat in front of us in the water.

"Get it" I heard him say as he placed his bag down and got in himself, I nodded and got in as well. After a few minutes of sailing away from the beach, we came to a stop. We were surrounded by water, and I saw Wonwoo get up and turn towards me. He smiled at me and then looked at the ocean. Without saying anything he dived in the ocean, and splashed some water on the boat. What the heck, I thought to myself as I got to edge of the boat and didn't see him. I furrowed my eyebrows and felt panic coming in my body.

"Wonwoo!" I yelled while looking around the water, "Wonwoo! This isn't funny" I yelled, how stupid is he, "Won-" I was cut off with laughter from behind me. I turned around and saw Wonwoo holding the boats sides and laughing, I felt my anger rise "What the heck! Are you insane?! What is wrong with you?! I thought you drowned for a second! I was scared for gods sake!" I yelled angrily at him and saw him turn serious.

"But I know how to swim" he said while tilting his head to the side a little, he looked adorable but I wasn't going to admit that. "How was I supposed to know?" I said while sighting and looking somewhere else but him, "I don't know, maybe if I didn't know how to swim I wouldn't jump in" he said while chuckling. I rolled my eyes and looked back at him, "Well,-" I was cut off by him, "Forget that, come in the water" he said while smiling, "but I don't have spare clothes to change to after" I replied while looking at the suit I decided to wear.

"I have a pair of shorts you can wear" he said while pointing to his bag, "It's fin-" I heard him sigh, "Just wear them or we're staying here" he said while backing away from the boat, "Okay" I replied while taking them out of his bag. "Hurry up and get in" he said then went underwater again. I took off my clothes and wore the shorts without my shirt. I went to the side of the water and jumped in. I came back up to see Wonwoo looking at me and smirking.

Suddenly, I felt water being splashed on my face. I turned around and went underwater, then pulled Wonwoo's leg and he came underwater too. I saw his shocked expression and grinned, I saw him go back up and followed him. However, when I got back up he wasn't there. Then I felt a weight on me. Wonwoo had his legs wrapped around my torso and his arms around my neck. I felt my heart do something again. He proceeded to push my head down and didn't let go of me.

He then stopped and started laughing, and I realized how close we were. It made me feel warm inside and I knew I liked it a little. I felt him let go of me and turned around to see him looking at a cliff that was feet above the water.

"Mingyu, are you afraid of heights?" he said looking back at me and smiling, "No why?" I said looking at the cliff. "Let's go" Wonwoo said while getting back in the boat while grinning at the cliff.

What have I gotten myself into?
