Ryder and the pups arrived at the talent show an hour early. People weren't gonna show up for another 45 minutes. Ryder decided that this would be a good time for a final rehearsal. "Okay pups! Let's use this extra time for some last minute rehearsals." Ryder said. Most of the pups agreed except for Chase and Marshall. "Hey you two, what wrong?" Ryder said out of concern. "We can't practice our songs here Ryder sir." Chase said. They were all surprised at this. "Why not Chase?" Skye asked. "W-well.. I-It's because... uhh.." Chase stuttered. "It's because our performance is a surprise! You'll see why soon!" Marshall said as he covered Chase's mouth before he could give up the surprise.
"Everyone! May I have everyone's attention please!" Mayor Goodway yelled. All of the performers were looking at her now. "Okay, I just want to wish everyone good luck and enjoy yourselves. For this is your time to shine!" Mayor Goodway's little speech gave everyone the motivation they needed. They were all ready to show their talents.
Meanwhile, outside the curtains...
Mayor Goodway steps out to officially start the show. "Is everyone settled down? Good. Let the Adventure Bay Annual Talent Show begin!" This got everyone to give a round of applause.
