unrequested: you're josh's co-star in his first movie role, a teen romance film. this is also your first movie and you both bonded as you experienced this journey together as actors. as production moved along however, both of you started gaining feelings for the other but didn't want to ruin your friendship/get rejected - since it could've just been blurring fiction with reality.

however, when you both do the infamous Friendship Test by Glamour on your press tour, you both realise how much it would all make sense...

"how are you feeling?" i asked josh as we stood across the room from each other, getting final touchups from the makeup artists.

"i'm feeling good, i'm so gonna win this" josh teased and i had to roll my eyes at his constant desire to annoy me.

"a friendship test isn't a competition loser - but i do know more about you, so suck it" i retorted and he shook his head in argument. i glanced over to see the makeup artist ask him to stop moving and he shyly obliged.

he side-eyed me with a guilty smile and i laughed to myself. i then noticed the makeup artists look towards each other with ambiguous smirks - but we decided
to ignore it.

i had known josh for almost a year now. we both auditioned for this movie that's based on one of my favourite Y/A books, Yes No Maybe So. i was so nervous through the whole auditioning process since i was just a girl who acted in commercials - nothing major like this.

however, i knew i would hate myself if i didn't give it a shot, but it blew my mind when i found out i got the role and then had to do a chemistry read with THE joshua bassett.

and the rest was history; we filmed for about 4 months and since then josh and i hadn't left each other's side. the next thing i knew, i was hanging out with his hsm cast and he made friends with everyone in my acting class. they all knew who he was and obsessed over him, meanwhile i had to deny that we were dating almost everyday. we weren't. that could never happen.

"okay we're gonna shoot in a minute so if you guys could just stand on the markers?" the directors asked. we both agreed and walked to our place.

we were so used to being this close to each other by now - we literally made out in the movie. but the fact that i was now one of those 'actresses' on a press tour and i was next to the guy that i admired the hell out of before meeting him - it was crazy. there was a whole new nervous energy about me since we weren't our characters now; we had to be our vulnerable selves...
