Chapter Thirteen

At last, we were finally back in Cali for the last show of tour in LA at the staple's center. I was beyond excited to play in front of this sold out area. It was one of the three sold out shows we played this whole tour, so it was going to be huge! I was a little nerves. Matt had mentioned Michelle was tagging along. The last thing I wanted, was to jump in a fight at the end of tour.

"Hey, are you dressed any ready for the show?" Syn asked me as I came out of the dressing room.

I nodded my head and he kissed me.

"Good," He smiled, "I have to go meet my dad and explain what happened with Michelle. After, I'll come find you so you can meet him."

I nodded my head again, then started down the hall looking for Matt.

I pasted Amber and Johnny along the way and they looked nothing but happier. They really did get better after Johnny called it quits with Lacey. I just woundered if Lacey would be showing up or not.

"Hey Johnny." I said turning around.

"Yea, whats up?" He asked as he looked from Amber, at me.

I took a deep breath, "Walk with me for a moment? I have something to ask."

He looked at Amber, whispered in her ear then jogged up to me, "Yea?"

"I have a werid question to ask," I said as we started walking, "Do you think Lacey will show up tonight?"

He shurgged his shoulders, "I dont think so, why?"

"I was just wondering. Matt mentioned Michelle might, so it had me thinking if Lacey would or not." I said watching the ground as we walked.

Johnny threw his arm around me, "Dont worry, if Michelle does, the worst she could do is take your head off or something."

"Thats just it Johnny, I dont want to fight her." I confessed.

He looked at me shocked, "Realy?"

"Yea, I mean, this between me and Syn is new. Were not like madly in love or anything. I took him away from his wife. She has a right to be mad." I told him.

He shook his head, "Cyndy. Syn doesnt just like you. If anything he likes you so fucking much. He couldnt stand Michelle. They fell out of love. I know Michelle feel out of love with him before they even got married, but he loved her then. Him catching her cheating on him, torn him apart, more then you know. Now that hes with you, hes so much better. Michelle just used him to feel stable and to say she made something from herself, when she hasnt. He didnt tell me this, but I think he loves you. The look he has in his eye when your not around, you can tell apart of him is missing. But when hes with you, its whole again."

"Johnny, thank you." I said hugging him, "Who knew I gnome had so much words."

He laughed and shook his head, "Yea, ruin the momment with the gmone joke."

I stuck my tonuge out at him, then went on my way to go find Matt.

When I finally found Matt out by the stage, Val was there talking to him and the Berrys. I was kind of nerves to go talk to Matt now that Val was there, since I stole Syn from her twin sister. I had no idea if she was mad at me or not. I kind of hoped she was.

"Cyndy!" Matt said spotting me, "Come here!"

My eyes got wide and I quickly jogged over to him.

"You remember Val, right?" Matt asked, wrapping his arm around her.

I nodded my head.

"Why quiet all of a sudden? You got use to use and been talking up a storm all day being so excited for the last show." He asked.

I just kind looked at Val, then the ground.

"Cyndy, I dont hate you." Val instently said, "It was about time Michelle and Brian went threw spereate ways. I know my sister can be an evil bitch, thats why shes the evil twin. I love her and Brian to death, but they werent in love anymore."

"I have a question about that, did Michelle ever really love him at all?" I asked.

Val looked at Matt, then me and sighed, "When they first started dating yes, but she didnt feel the same anymore after he got attatched to her. She was going to break it off, but Matt was over telling me about this big tour that was really going to get a name for theirselves and she decided to stay with him just because she was too scared to go out on her own."

"Thats what I thought. Johnny told me." I said looking at the ground.

"Cyndy." Val said making me look back up at her, "Brian stayed with Michelle cause he felt he didnt have anyone else. Now that hes found you, its love and its real. Dont be a Michelle."

I shook my head, "Oh god no. I wont, I swear! I've always had a crush on him and now that I know him, I really like him."

"Good." She smiled.

Matt hugged me.

"Oh yea, the reason I was looking for you." I said looking at Matt, "Is Michelle going to be here?"

He looked at Val for an answer.

"I cant say. Im not sure. I wanna say she wont, but my gut says she will be." Val told me sadly.

I sighed and nodded my head, "Yea, well Im going to go worn Brian."

Val and Matt both laughed as I went off looking for Syn. I searched for about twenty minutes, till I found him out by the bus area with his dad. I found him by his loud voice, like he was agruging. The closer I got, the more I could understand what was being said, so I just said behind the buses to watch and listen.

"Brian, why the hell are you leaving Michelle for your drummer?!" His dad yelled.

"Because, god damn it, Michelle treats me bad!" He yelled back.

His dad growled, "Shes good for you, but your dropping her for someone younger?"

"No dad, shes not good for me! She cheated on me and has been using me for years. It was luck that I so happened to like our new drummer." He said.

His dad shook his head, "I dont believe it son."

"Believe dad!" He yelled, "I think I even love her. We have so much in comon."

"How do you know?! All you've done is fuck her from what I've herd." His dad said discusted.

He hit the side of the bus, "No, thats not all I done. Last night, we got buzzed and just spilled our thoughts out to each other. Just the two of us. We want the same thing out of life. We dont want to be hurt anymore."

"Im not meeting this girl Brian. She suduced you while you were married!" His dad yelled at him.

Brian shook his head, "Im done talking to you."

I ran on the other side of the bus as Syn walked away. I opened the bus door I was standing next to and walekd on. Brandy and Zacky were sitting on the bus, looking at me shocked.

"Did you just hear all that?" Zacky asked me.

I nodded my head in tears.

"God damn it." Brandy yelled, "I cant believe Papa Gates said that."

I shook my head and sat on the couch between her and Zacky. They both hugged me and just let me cry.

"Hey, have you seen Matt?" Papa Gates said walking on the bus.

I jumped up from the couch and whipped my face, "Um, on the stage. I just got done talking to him a few minutes ago."

The look on Papa Gates looked like he felt guilty.

"I need to have a talk with you after I go find Matt." He said as he walked off the bus.

"Snap!" Zacky laughed.

I rolled my eyes and flipped him off, then sat back down.

"You okay?" Brandy asked.

I nodded my head, "Im going to tell him. Im going to tell, what Val and Johnny told me about Michelle. Then im going to tell him, I think I love his son."
