I covered my 2week old sister the best I could with my five year old body

"so you choose your sister, I guess mommy will be leaving with me" my dad shouted before I heard two bangs and body's dropped to the floor

I continued to sob and cover my sister while banging on the door started

"demia! demia! DEMIA!"

"demia wake up please" killua shook me awake , I jumped up and quickly ran to my bathroom toilet and threw up bile while killua held my hair.

"you okay" I hear kill say faintly and my head began to spin

my head shot down at demia after the sounds of her crying suddenly stopped, I quickly checked her pulse to make sure she was still breathing

after feeling her heartbeat in her wrist I gently laid her head on the floor and put her on her back

I stood up running to get my phone to call big brother, he answered on the second ring

"yooo"

"brother she fainted" I said trying not to cry again, I hated seeing her like this

"I'm on my way, where she at"

"umm she in the bathroom on the floor"

"okay is she one her back? dis you check her pulse? If she have on anything tight take it off"

" I know I know ,just hurry"

"igh I'll be der in 10 I luv u"

"I luv u more" I said then banged on em and went to get a bottle of water then back in the bathroom with demia and sat on the floor next to her

after about 3 minutes her eyes shot open and landed on me

"you okay"I questioned her and she simply nodded her head while grabbing my hand

"you mean the world to me okay" she said in a raspy voice and I simply nodded my head handing her the water

she took a couple sips and began to get up slowly and I helped her

she send to her bed and began to get under the covers

"big brother on the way" I spoke and she rolled her eyes

I opened my mouth to ask her if she had taken her meds but I didn't want to be rude , so I kept that though myself  and grabbed the remote to turn some tunes

"you okay, whatever you have to say you can say" she said opening the covers so I can get under with her

I smiled and got under with her

"I just wanted to know if you've taken your meds" I said fast and she just chuckled

" I didn't want to sound offensive so I didn't wanna ask"

"you don't have to be afraid to ask my anything, ever okay"she said while playing with one of my curls

"Okay" I said and her room door flew open and there stood big brother with a disgusted look on his face

"y'all niggas gay, in here cuddled up listening to Jhené oink oink and shit, gimme the damn remote" he said while laying at the bottom of the bed changing it to the boondocks

"It feels nice for all of us to be together, it's been a minute" I said with a cool aid  smile on my face

"would've been sooner if yo sister wasn't such a whore" big brother said under his breath

I kicked him " no negative energy"

about 5 minutes later the doorbell started ringing

"not it" demia said first

"not it" I said second

"not it" big brother said in a girly voice "shut thee fuck up, it's yo doctor" he said while pointing at demia "and me and u" he pointed to me "finna gets some food,last one to the car pays for breakfast" then he jetted out

"that's not even fair you was already standing" I shouted and got up slipped on Demia house shoes and started running too but stopped at the threshold of her room door

"are you gonna be okay, we can stay till the doctor leave" I asked

" no it's fine I'll text in the group chat what I want" she said softly , I nodded and turned around bumping into the doctor, I apologized and continued to run to the car.
