Where It Ended

Over the next few months Todoroki and Midoryia had gotten closer and closer almost to the point where they hung out together more than Bakugou and Midoryia did.

With this daunting discovery, Bakugou felt left out and abandoned by his "best friend". If you can even call them that anymore. Ever since Todoroki came into their lives, both Midoryia and Bakugou drifted farther away from each other as the days passed.

Does he miss me as much as I miss him? Questioned Bakugou. There was not a day that went by that he didn't think about the boy, his smile that could turn a cloudy day sunny and his beautiful green eyes were always on his mind. He longed for the day that Todoroki would mind his own business for once and not get in the way of him and Midoryia. That he would leave forever and let them be together in peace. Sadly, this was a wish that would not come true, the only wish that is being granted is one of sinister plans and that is, the end of Midoryia's and Bakugou's childhood friendship.

~Midoryia's POV~

I awoke as I would any day, to my mother's delicious breakfast being cooked in the kitchen, the aroma awakes me every time, every day. I guess you could say I'm a light sleeper, hehe! I quickly rush down stairs, today is the day! Me and Kacchan get to hang out today! YAY! I've been waiting for so long, of course I love hanging out with Todoroki but Kacchan will always be my one true hero.

I excitedly make my way to the dinning table, having a fresh batch of pancakes placed right in front of me. (Japan doesnt really do breakfast so imma give him an American one I guess you could say :))) "Thank you so much for the food, mom! It looks delicious"!

"Hehe, your welcome! But don't just stare at it, eat it!"

I happily gobble down my food, feeling very satisfied after. Once I'm done, I rush upstairs to change into my school uniform. I don't need my mom's help anymore, I'm a big boy now! I make my way down stairs again, rushing to grab my school supplies and putting on my shoes. "Woah, woah, slow down there, what's the rush"? My mom asks me, staring at me from down the hall with a confused expression. "I get to hang out with Kacchan today, the faster today is over, the sooner I get to see Kacchan"! I respond happily, smiling. "Oooh, I see. Well then, have fun after school! Just make sure to pay attention to the roads and at school today, ok? I don't want to worry over you".

"Dont worry mom, I'll be good. I promise"!

"That's a good boy, now I don't want you staying out too late today, we have guests coming over. See you later, Izuku! Come home safe"!

"I love you mom, goodbye"!

And with that I left my home, not expecting what today really had to offer.

~Bakugou's POV~

Oh. My. Gosh.

I GET TO SEE IZUKU TODAY XKSJDHXUAJSJDU IM SO EXCITED!! HAHA TAKE THAT TODOROKI, TODAY IS MY DAY!!

Of course I said all of this inside my head while calmly eating my breakfast like a civilized human being.

Oh frick it- who can be civilized when their around Izuku?! He practically screams adorable! I just want to kiss his plump soft cheeks, hold his small soft hand, caress his-

"Katsuki, are you ok? Why are you creepily staring and smiling at your waffles?"

My thoughts were snapped back into reality as I now realized I hadn't even touched my waffles yet. "S-sorry mom! I was just thinking about how me and Midoryia would be hanging out today".

"Ah, I see. Well then, just make sure you finish your breakfast. I hope you two have fun. I have to get ready for work now, see you later munchkin". She walks over to me, ruffling my hair before taking her leave.

"Bye mom!" I yell out in response. I finish my breakfast and make my way to my bedroom to get ready for the day. Changing into my uniform and grabbing my backpack, rushing to put on my shoes, I exit the house with the prospects of this being a fantastic day.

Only it wasn't.

~Midoryia POV~

Aaaah, finally today is over! I can go see Kacchan now!! EEEEK IM SO EXCITED!! I happily skip my way to his elementary school, we didn't end up in the same school but that's ok, at least we get to meet up here and there! I wait outside, hoping to see some glimpse of spiky blonde hair over the sea of parents and kids when finally, I see him.
Gosh dang, he's so cool! I could never be Kacchan but that's ok, he has his own type of light radiating off of him.
My heart suddenly feels all warm and fuzzy inside as I continue to stare at Kacchan, he has a look of determination on his face as finally, he locks eyes with me. I can feel my heart flutter as he makes a bee line towards me when finally, he's right in front of me.

"H-hi Kacchan! Long time no see!"

"H-hey Izu- I-I mean Midoryia".

I feel slight disappointment when he didn't use my given name. Maybe it really has been that long since we last hung out.

"A-anyways what would you like to do today"? Asks Kacchan.

"Hmm, how about we go to our secret base"! I respond enthusiastically.

"Sure, I don't mind".

"Alright then let's go"!

~Bakugou's POV~

Thank God, everything is going as planned. It's not awkward between us which is a good sign, he's still my friend.
Me and Izuku continue down the path to our secret base, occasionally bumping shoulders with each other when suddenly I feel a small warm hand slip into mine. I wip my head in Izuku's direction, my face heating up quickly with a deep blush. He stares back at me with a questionable expression, not realizing his own actions when finally he looks down to our hands.

"A-ah! I'm sorry kacchan, I-I don't know what came over me! I've just gotten so used to use holding hands before I didnt realize, haha"! He pulls his hand from mine, his face is bright red, sweat droplets form on the sides of his face.

"Tch, dang Midoryia. I didn't say you could let go and its fine, I enjoy holding hands". I quickly grab his hand again, missing his warmth.

"O-oh, I see....I like holding your hands too Kacchan". He responds with a smile, leaning on my shoulder as we continue walking to our secret base, talking about random stuff that came to our minds.

We finally make it through the narrow forest path and into the paradise that is our secret base. I look to Izuku with a smirk, having an activity in mind and before he could process my expression I yell out, while tapping his shoulder, "TAG, YOUR IT"!!
He stands there stunned but when he had the chance to process my action, he took off, running at full speed toward me. I didn't have time to move out of the way before he tackled me to the cool dirt. Yelling out in the process, "TAG, YOUR IT KACCHAN"!

We fall to the ground laughing, oh how I missed hearing his heart-warming laugh. It made everything grey become colorful. We continue to chuckle as I move him from on top of to me beside me, where we both are staring at each other face to face. Our laugher continues to quiet down as we continue to stare at each other's faces. I really, genuinely missed his gorgeous personality, his beautiful face. Oh how I wished this moment could last.
Silence then fills the air between, us, only our breathing and the sound of nature being heard. I lean my head forward, bumping into his. Here it goes. Now or never.
"Izuku, I...I....I lo-"

"IZUKU"!! Screams out an all too familiar voice.

Bruh 🗿 I literally forgot I created this book. Anyways, schools been on my ass for the past couple of months, sorry for the extremely late update. No one really reads this book so like, Idk when the next update is. Hehe.
