6 months later

"Life has never been better" i say taking a sip from Joey's drink.

Me and Joey have been dating for six months and honestly they've been the best six months in my life.
Makenna is the most adorable thing in the entire planet, me and my friends have never been so close and everything seems to be just perfect.

I was currently at my house with Joey babysitting Makenna because my parents and Mars were shopping for Christmas.

Me and Joey made Christmas cookies and the turned really good.

"Hey babe! Your phone" he said running to the kitchen
"Shh Makenna is sleeping" i say and he gives me a kiss

"Hello?" I say answering the unknown number "hey! Um.. hey Mads. It's Avani, please don't hang up! This is really important" i waled a little bit away from Joey "what do you want"

"I know it doesn't make sense me calling and it's been like 8 months but I can't keep it inside anymore. There's something i need to tell you"

"Tell me" i said impatient "I can't over the phone. I'm in town. Can we meet at that park" she asked.

I didn't want to talk to her but i was curious so i said yes.
I told her to meet me in an hour and she agreed. I look at the window and take a deep breath.

"Who was it?" Joey asked "um no one. Wrong number" i said smiling at him. He simply nodded and walked back to the kitchen. "My mom just texted. She forgot her credit card, I'm going to the mall to give it to her" i said looking around the kitchen.

"I can go with you" he said taking a bite of the cookie.
"Actually I'll go alone. Can you stay with makenna?" I said. He looked at me a little confused but he just nodded.

I went upstairs and took an expired credit card from my moms room. I put on a hoodie and a pair of mom jeans.

"It's probably nothing. She's just going to say that she's sorry and everything will be okay" i say to myself.

I was curios but scared too. What if everything goes wrong.

I sat down and cuddled with Joey. After an hour I grabbed my phone and turned off my location.

"Bye" i say and to my car. The park was 30 minutes away and it was windy outside.

Since there was no traffic i got there in 25. There was no one there. It looked like abandoned. I was honestly scared someone would kidnap me.

"Mads" I jumped a little. Wait. That's not Avani.

"Payton?" I said standing up. He was wearing a black hoodie and a pair of blue jeans. "What are you doing here?" I asked "I'm waiting for someone" he said and I nodded.

Its been 10 minutes and no sight of Avani. I was sitting on a table "fuck this" i said and started walking towards my car "Mads wait" i turn around and see her running towards me and Payton.

I walk to her "what took you so long" i asked "sorry the uber was late" she said "can you tell me why are we here? I have things to do" Payton said and I rolled my eyes "let me Guess. Another person to cheat on?" I say under my breath.

"Mads i know you probably won't forgive me and I don't expect you to but i need to tell you this" she said as i sat down at the dusty wooden table.

"I never liked Payton. A few weeks before we met i met Grace. We didn't have friends in common or anything but she knew things about my past that no one else did. She used that to blackmail me" she said and Payton looked at her confused.

"Wait Grace? My girlfriend Grace" he said "no your ass Grace. Are you stupid" i said and he just looked at me "she told me that i had to break you guys up and she was only with Joey because of the  plan. The unknown number calls you got was Addison's voice. I think she blackmailed her too. She was completely obsessed with you Payton. Once she said that she was willing to kill Mads if this stupid plan didn't work." I looked at Avani in shock "no matter what i did you guys wouldn't break up and she was getting impatient so i made him cheat on you."

"No, this doesn't make sense! You ruined my relationship because you were scared of a little secret getting out" i yelled "i had no cho-"

"Yes you did! You did have a choice Avani! You decided to betray our friendship because you were getting blackmailed by a bitch!" I cut her off

"No, no b-but the video the number" i said walking around.

This is all crazy!

"I'm sorry mads but I couldn't risk it" she said and just left. WHAT. the bitch drops a bomb like that and just leaves.

"Oh my god" Payton said smiling "why the fuck are you smiling" i asked with tears running down my face
"Because i Love you mads. I never stopped loving you. Now we know it was all a set up we can work things out again"

"Are you stupid" I scoffed

"No! You heard her this was all just a stupid plan" he said looking at me.

"Yeah Payton it was just a plan but it was your choice to fucking cheat" I yelled

"I loved you Payton. I was ready to give up on everything just to be with you but you ruined everything" i say with watery eyes.

"I'm sorry" i say walking back slowly.

"Mads wait" he said

"I know it's hard but you moved on and i did too. I'm on love with Joey and i know he won't do the same mistakes you did. Because if you really loved me you would've appreciated me much more"

I told him.

"I'm sorry" he simply said with sad eyes.

"Our love doesn't exist anymore"
