Karin sighs while looking up at the night sky above, "as it stands now, I know about the enemy than you and the others."

Toshiro looks at her quickly, gaze narrowed, "what do you mean Karin?" He asks.

"I have empathic abilities Toshiro," Karin replies finally turning to him their eyes meeting, each holding a burden so great that they don't want the other to know.

"That's impossible, Soul Reaper don't have empathic abilities." Toshiro shakes his head, but he knew that when it came to the Kurosaki's anything was possible. 'So why deny it then?' He had to ask himself.

Karin sighs once again, "I had these abilities before becoming a Soul Reaper, they've only gotten stronger since." Karin explains to him, though not that it made anymore since then it did before.

Toshiro frowns confused, "that's unheard of."

'Unheard of, but not impossible.' Toshiro has to remind himself.

"Yeah," Karin nods, "I'm not sure how it works either." She looks away from him and up to the sky where the stars shone brightly, lighting up the dark sky in a twinkling beauty.

"What all do you know about this new enemy Karin?" Toshiro finally questions, just as she had been waiting for him to do all along.

"Well," Karin began but flinched upon feeling an oncoming vision, it was she was being sucked in by a tornado. It wasn't something she could fight.

Toshiro looks her quickly as they once again stop walking, her breaths become shallow and her eyes widen.

"Is something wrong?"

Karin forcefully pulls herself out of the vison, clutching her head as she falls to her knees, it was still trying to pull her in and she knew she had little time to prepare Toshiro before it pull her in totally and completely.

Immediately Toshiro is down on the ground by her side, a worried look in his turquoise eyes; She cast a glance at him with panicked eyes, she had to prepare him for what was coming, "please don't freak out Toshiro, but I'm about to be pulled into a vision!"

Karin's hands fall away from her hand and out to the ground in front of her, her breath quickening as she tried hard to fight it, but she knew fighting it only made the pain worse and the vision more imminent.

"I'll explain more later, I promise," Karin breaths while Toshiro knelt beside her, his hand gentle and warm on her back, the fear in his eyes reflecting the fear in her own. " I can't fight it any longer Toshiro, I'm sorry you have to see this." With that Karin's vision begins to fade and she finds herself back where she was in her last vision.

Toshiro gently and carefully picks her up, moving her to the grass, he wasn't freaking out, but he was worried. To think that her empathic abilities were strong enough that she could connect to the enemy.

Toshiro stared down at her glowing white eyes, not knowing what to think, only that he would stay here with her until she returned to him.

He felt it unwise and unsafe to move her, so he held her tightly in his arms.

******

Karin looked all around her, this was different than all the other times before, it was like she was actually here.

"Do you think they can see us?"

Karin startles at the voice, turning to see where it came from before doing a double take, her eyes widen as she sputters, "sh...Shionnei!?"

A young girl with long blazing red hair, crimson eyes, and a blue arrow mark on her forehead stood in front of her. She had on a red sweater vest and green shorts.

"Yep!" Shionnei smirks, "it's me."

"What's going on? Why are you in that form?"

Shionnei shrugs, "you're the one with all the weird powers, but if I had to guess I think we are here in spirit form, like an astral projection of ourselves, and since technically I'm part of your soul, I came too."

"Okay, how do we get back then?"  Karin questions just as the two girls from the previous vision walk in.

The blue haired girl had shed her fur coat as she waked with such confidence, clearly saying that she deserved respect.

"I don't think they can see us." Karin whispers wide eyed.

"Doesn't seem like they can hear us either, also, I don't know how to get back, I'm assuming it'll just happen when it happens, like a feeling of being pulled back or something."

Karin sighs, she had a feeling that was the case.

"Is it ready yet Resilla?" Blue hair asks.

The red head know as Resilla shakes her head, "almost," she replies, "two or thee more days at most Master."

"Good."

"Pardon me for asking, but will we be able to get enough spirit energy from this Karakura town to break the seal binding you to that weak body?" Resilla kneels before blue.

"Yes." Blue hairs answers without hesitation, "those with high spirit energy will be drained, and as it stands now, there are four captains there."

'Ichigo was right.' Karin thought, no one was safe from this new enemy, even from their astral state she could feel the immense dark power the blue haired girl radiated. In fact, if she zeroed in on her aura she could practically see the icky blackness oozing from the girls pores.

"This is not good," Shionnei states wide eyed.

Karin agrees, "no, it's not good at all."

Then suddenly, as if all the air is forcefully being pulled from her lungs, Karin feels herself fading out, only to reawaken back in the world of the living being held in Toshiro's arms.

"Are you okay?" Is the first thing he asks, voice calm and gentle.

'No,' Is hat she wanted to say, but she only nodded yes. Truth was though, she felt like total shit, her body felt weak and shaky, her head was spinning, and she was having trouble controlling her telepathic abilities as voices and thoughts pelted at her from left and right.

'Just breathe,' Shionnei tells her and she does so, allowing Toshiro to help her sit up.

"What happened?" He asks.

"I'm not entirely sure myself, but we've got trouble coming our way." She answers him, staring into his blue green eyes which held nothing but love and worry for her.

His eyes narrow, "What kind of trouble?"

"Two or three days before they can come to the world of the living."

"Shit!" Toshiro curses under his breath before looking away, his eyes turning cold.

"That's not all," Karin adds before continuing, "they plain on draining the spirit energy of those with high spiritual pressure. Apparently their leaders got some kind on seal binding her that can only be broken with immense spirit pressure."

Toshiro meets Karin's eyes once again, "we have to tell the others."

Karin shakes her head, "we have to tell Kisuke first."

Toshiro nods, "let's go."
