When I woke up, I felt a strange heat pressed against my body. When I opened my eyes, I was holding Timebomb. I blushed instantly. He slowly opened his eyes and gathered the information.
I pulled away and sat up against the wall. "It's not what it looks like!"
He yawned. "You really can't sleep alone can you?"
"Wh-what does that mean," I asked nervously.
He sat up and rubbed his eye. You constantly kept hugging me and pulling me up against you. When I tried to make breakfast an hour ago, you wouldn't let me leave. So I just went back to sleep."
My cheeks burned as hot as coal. Then I looked down. I squeaked. I covered myself. "I'm in my underwear..."
He tossed me the blanket. "Go ahead and get dressed. Venturian should be checking in on us in a few hours."
I wrapped the blanket around me and rushed to my room I jumped into my armored jumpsuit. Why did I sleep with him?
I walked into the kitchen and saw Timebomb cooking eggs, his hair still a mess and his clothes still wrinkly from sleep. I pulled up a pan and pancake mix.
"Did you sleep well," Timebomb yawned.
"Yeah," I replied quietly. "How about you?"
"I've had better nights." He poured the scrambled eggs into a bowl and pulled out some bacon from the refrigerator. "We got a message from Megaton."
I felt my heart stop. "Yeah?"
"The Brotherhood have locked down the town due to a 'problem' and Gob is asking for our help."
"Did you reply?"
"No." He tossed the bacon strips onto the pan. "Thought I should tell you about it first."
I flipped three pancakes. "I'll reply after breakfast."
I placed the pancakes onto a plate and poured the next batch. Blood spread on the pan. I shrieked and fell back on the tile floor, spilling the bowl. Timebomb rushed to my side.
"There's blood!"
Shocked, he jumped up and looked in the pan. He looked back at me with concern. "I see pancake mix."
I scramble up and look. Surely enough, pancake mix was cooking on the pan. I tried to say something but nothing would come out.
Timebomb took my hand and sat me down at the table. "I'll cook breakfast."

I didn't eat. Instead, I went to my room and cleaned my magnum. Until I saw blood and threw it across the room with silent shock. I placed my hands on my head. Was I losing my mind? The door opened and Vahl walked in. She pulled out her favorite sword.
"I've slain many beasts with this blade," she said. "This blade took me across Skyrim and aided me in my many quests." She picked up my magnum. "While I cut away my enemies like bread, you fire your gun to blow away vast armies, mutants, and your fiercest foes." She held her sword to her side and pointed the grip of the magnum toward me. "So why do you suddenly back down from a simple image? Why are you afraid of the shadows that have always lurked behind you? Take up your arms and be reborn. You are the mightiest warrior in the Capital Wasteland! Now prove it to the Brotherhood of Steel! Show them who you really are!"
I took the gun with hesitation. There was no blood. I checked my ammo and stood up. "You're right! Thanks Vahl!"
She smiled proudly and nodded her head. "I may be a king, but I am your servant."
