Jessica’s POV

“Hey ba-” I was cut off by Harry walking right past me, ignoring my existence.

“What the fuck” I whispered under my breath as I walked toward Eloise.

“Is everything alright?” she asked with her eyebrows furrowed as I sat down across from her.

“Yeah” I sighed, picking at the salad on my lunch tray.

“What happened?” she asked.

“Harry is such a fucking dick, he’s completely ignoring me” I started to stab the lettuce with my plastic fork.

“Sounds like him, but hey, I’m sure there’s an explanation, why don’t you talk to him?” she smiled.

“Yeah, I guess I should, come with me?” I asked.

“Sure” Eloise said as she got up.

We walked over to his friends.

“Hey, have you guys seen Harry?” I asked.

“I think he went to the back field” a guy with dark brown hair and eyes said.

“Thanks” I partially smiled before walking towards the field with Eloise.

“Harry” I heard an annoyingly high pitched voice giggle. Holly.

As I walked around the corner, I saw the one thing I never wanted to see. Harry had Holly pinned to the cement wall as they intensely made out.

“Harry” I said as I felt my anger rising.

“Jessica” Harry said as he turned around and stared at me with a cold look.

“What the fuck is wrong with you? Why are you such a dick” I raised my voice.

His lips immediately formed into a smirk.

“What did you expect, babe? I’m the player” he laughed.

“Fuck you” I spat.

“And also, I don’t want a psycho bitch as a girlfriend” he stared at me once again with a cold, disgusted look.

“How the fuck is she psycho?” Eloise shouted.

“She fucking bashed Holly”

“I defended myself, she started hitting me” I argued.

“She’s lying, Harry. Don’t believe them!” Holly shouted.

“Yeah, Harry. Don’t believe us, believe the slut that’s fucked more than half the school” Eloise spat sarcastically.

Holly’s jaw dropped.

“Come on El, they’re not worth our time” I said.

The bell went and Eloise and I parted as we walked to our classes.

As I was walking to class, I walked into someone, causing them to drop their books.

“Shit sorry” I apologized while I leant down to grab the books.

“My fault” he laughed.

Passing him his books, I noticed he was looking at me with furrowed eyebrows.

“Do I know you?” he asked.

“No” I answered.

“Wait, you’re the new girl, Jessica, right?” he grinned.

“Yeah, people just call me Jess though”

“I’m Jacob, what do you have now? I’ll walk you”

“English is B8” I smiled.

Jacob swung his arm over my shoulder as we walked to my classroom.

“Everyone’s talking about you, you know” he slightly smiled.

“Really?” I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

“What do you expect, Jess? You’re only the hottest girl to step foot in this school” he smirked.

“Thanks…” I laughed nervously.

“Do you want to catch a movie tonight or something? What’s your number?” he grinned.

“Sure” I smiled and nodded.

He passed me his phone and I entered my mobile number.

“See you tonight” he slightly smiled  before walking down a couple of classrooms.

I walked into class and everyone was staring.

“Could you be any more of a whore, Jess? Jumping from Harry to Jacob within a day” Holly laughed.

“I'm the whore? Take a look in the mirror, bitch” I snickered before sitting in my seat.

“You think you're top shit don’t you? You’re nothing! Dirt on the bottom of my shoe is more popular than you ever will be loser!” Holly said, obviously agitated.

“Is that why Jacob just asked her out but has rejected you all of those thirteen times that you begged him to go on one date with you, Holly?” the girl next to me spat before I could say anything.

“That’s enough girls!” Our teacher shouted.

“Thanks” I whispered to the girl next to me.

“No worries, I’m Zara, Jacob’s sister” she smiled.
