Lisa watched Taehyung pace back and forth in the kitchen with a phone attached to his ears. There was a huge scowl on his face that Lisa despises to get a glimpse of. Fortunately, it was not directed to her, so she could not care less. She's just concerned for the person on the other line who is the subject of Taheyung's annoyance.

He's making her anxious, though. She wants to snap at him to stop pacing and biting his nails. But then again, maybe it's an important phone call. Judging by the way Taehyung's eyes were shut and was sighing every three seconds, it's about work or family matters. Lisa hopes it was the former.

You see, Kim Taehyung is the heir to V Inc. and has been handling its subsidiaries for quite some time now. He had a silver spoon dangling from his mouth ever since he was in his mother's womb. It was his destiny to take over the company in the future and he's doing great at it, Lisa as a witness. He accepted his fate, but what he can never accept was the way his family was trying to find him a wife. Someone to support him when they bid farewell to their life fully lived.

Taehyung does not need a wife. He is fine on his own.

Lisa believed that.

What was not sitting well with her were the various women she encounters every Saturday morning. Taehyung's long lineage of conquests that she had been well acquainted with. What can she do? Throw them outside of their door? No. Women, no matter what size nor age, deserves respect.

And it feels so good to annoy Taehyung by making them stay over for breakfast. A triumph in disguise.

Her thoughts were abruptly cut by a loud thud coming from Taehyung's direction. Lisa quickly stood up to aid his frustrations that he had been releasing by kicking their kitchen counter.

"For fuck's sake, Taehyung." She exclaimed when she noticed that there was a forming bruise on his toes. "What is it this time?" She knows. She knows it wasn't work if he reacted this way.

"There's a fucking engagement party on saturday." He was fuming with anger, his ears were already red to reflect his raging emotions. Lisa knitted her brows together, trying to figure out what was wrong with an engagement party. As far as she knows, Taehyung had attended lots of them and he wasn't this furious.

"Tae, it's just an engagement pa-"

"It isn't!" He roared, making Lisa take a step back. Shit, she hates angry Taehyung with a passion. In the five years they have been sharing Taehyung's apartment together, never did she find out how to tame the beast inside of him. "You don't understand, Lisa!"

"Well if you kindly explain to me what was happening, then probably I can help you." She said with gritted teeth. This is why she hates angry Taehyung. She has no patience for this side of him.

"Lisa." He breathed, his eyes intently staring back at hers. His hands made its way on either side of her shoulders. "It's my engagement party." His voice was low yet full of venom.

Oh.

Oh.

"So tell me Lisa, how can you help me?" He huffed. Lisa struggled to clear her throat.

His question rang in her mind. How can she help him?

"Okay first, you need to calm down." She moved the both of them towards the stools. She untangled herself from Taehyung's hard grasp on her shoulders. "You won't be able to think of plausible solutions when you look like a raging tomato." She made her way towards the glasses and poured him some water.
