Living together was as easy as breathing, that Lisa knows for sure.

It only took two weeks for them to pick up a routine that works best for their habituated lifestyle—closing the air conditioners at six in the morning ("you may be rich, but that doesn't mean you're incapable of saving electricity!" Lisa proposed.), eating breakfast by Lili at seven, going to work at eight, coming home at five in the afternoon (usually but not everyday), and so on and so forth.

They established rules, even. The list includes, but not limited to: color coding the laundry, alternate grocery shopping, replace outside footwear with fluffy slippers before entering the apartment (in courtesy of Lisa's love for fluffy slippers and Taehyung purchasing about a dozen of those), and absolutely NO noise of any kind after eleven o'clock in the evening.

Fortunately, the rules have been complied with up until now. Taehyung even bothered to make Lisa sign a handwitten contract and agree with the terms above. There's no harm in having documented evidence, right?

Lisa woke up at six, as usual. Tying her hair up in a messy bun and rubbing her face with her hands to remove the remaining drowsiness away, she stood up and stretched her whole body before slipping into her new favorite fuzzy slippers. She stepped outside the room at the exact same moment Taehyung closed his bedroom door behind him.

Their rooms are situated across each other, Lisa's door yellow and Tahyung's purple.

Giving him a big grin when their eyes met, she opened her arms as Taehyung approached her lazily and fitted himself into her small arms, leaning a little bit forward to rest his forehead onto her shoulders. His messy bed hair touched the side of Lisa's neck and she cannot help but giggle.

"Good morning sleepy head," She greeted as she wrapped her arms around the big baby bear who only hummed in response.

"Your morning breath stinks." Taehyung teased with a sly morning smirk appearing on his lips when they pulled away. Lisa rolled her eyes and playfully slapped his arms.

"One more insult and you'll have to cook your own breakfast." She countered, sashaying towards to kitchen, leaving a dumbfounded Taehyung behind to protest that she smelled like lavender while catching up to her.

Lisa cooks breakfast every single day. She will never get tired of it. She loves it when Taehyung enjoys the meal she serves and she doesn't have to do the dishes. It's beneficial on her side.

She prepared pancakes and strawberries dipped in chocolate because Taehyung lately enjoyed sweet meals in the morning.

Despite the intimidating aura Taehyung emits after he partially inherited V Inc.—a true glow only a CEO can have—he was a big baby before the sun rises. In his patterned pajamas and oh so fluffy hair, his eyes still a little puffy from the remains of his sleep, he looks like an innocent child.

But when he changes into his formal attire, the innocent child is long gone.

That's why Lisa loved this routine of theirs, even after five years of doing so. She adored this side of Kim Taehyung, and she's glad she's the only one who gets to see it.

Kim Taehyung is a man of many personas, and this one was special.

"Tae, breakfast is ready," Lisa called out. Taehyung was crouching by the side of the counter, feeding both Leo and Yeontan and petting them as they ate. He stood up and sat on the high stool next to her.

With a quick and cheerful 'yay' from him, he started munching on the strawberries, savoring it with sounds inappropriate on the dining table.

After cooking for Taehyung in the last five years, she had grown accustomed to this habit of his so Lisa did not say anything. Instead, she ate her share of the meal as they fell into a light and fun conversation.

At eight, Taehyung was all cleaned up and was ready to go to work, but that doesn't mean he likes doing so. At the same time, Lisa finished her last set for her morning workout and was already tidying up her mats and equipment.

"I'll be home late today, I have a dinner meeting that will last until nine." Taehyung announced as he glides swiftly towards the living room where Lisa was situated.

"Mmm, don't care." She responded absent mindedly, an answer that comes so naturally. Taehyung only smiled and kissed Lisa on the forehead. She scrunched her nose at this as always.

"I'm going to go now, don't miss me too much." With a wink, he walked towards their front door.

"Your cocky ass will never be missed." She retorded lodly yet fondly.

The day went by quickly. Lisa had a productive day and she was proud of what she had achieved. She managed to choreograph two performances and ate lunch with Bambam and Wheein—another routine but it was outside the comforts of her home.

She logged out at four and met with Chaeyoung at the nearby cafe, a few blocks away from both her work area and her apartment. It was thursday and she and her best friend always met up during mondays and thursdays at the very least, adding a saturday if they're missing each other too much.

Chaeyoung now works as a composer at Je On Entertainment, the agency being inherited by the love of her life, Jeon Jungkook.

And oh boy, she was glowing. Chaeyoung is happy and that's all that matters.

Coming home at half past seven in the evening, she toed her shoes off and took a bubble bath to relieve the soreness and tightness of her muscles. Her job never really gets easy with physical pain, but she loves it more than anything else. The pain will subside eventually, but her love for the art of body movement is irreplaceable. Besides, there's no muscle ache that can never be cured by a warm bath.

Lisa fed Leo and Yeontan while also preparing herself some dinner as well, heating up the left over japchae from the previous night. She played with their pets until she heard the front door open, revealing a tired Taetae with his coat on his right arm and his tie already loose.

"How was your day?" Lisa asked. Taehyung only sighed and plopped down beside her, Yeontan placing himself between his legs. He smiled in an instant, the furry pup bringing relief to his long day.

"Long." He finally replied when he threw a squishy ball to play catch with Tannie. Lisa hummed in response.

Taehyung then proceeded ranting about his day, how an employee dropped his favorite vase, and how he was served a steak cooked rare instead of well dine. Lisa can only react with a laugh or a pout, with some curse words thrown in between.

In exchange, Lisa told him about her day too.

Add that to the routine they have established throughout the years. Just playing with their cat and dog while talking about their day—it was easy and comforting.

Lisa can never ask for a better roommate.

Okay, maybe she can, especially when Saturday rolls around. But, that's a story for another time.

Taehyung closes his lights at eleven, but before doing so, he knocks on Lisa's door and asks for a thai massage. He doesn't do it often, only when he had a bad day or some sort.

Lisa willingly obliged.

With a kiss on the crown of her head, they bid each other good night and slept peacefully in their own rooms,

Not knowing what comes after tomorrow.
