Chapter 15

~I didn't forget Harry HumpDay update! I was just tweaking the chapter a little. It's a little short, but the last couple were pretty long. So forgive me. I'll try to make the next one longer!!~

Chapter 15

Harrys pov

"Why aren't you dancing?"

Ed sat next to me and I watched as Charlie and our friends twirled and laughed on the dance floor. Even Aidan was enjoying himself.

"I'd rather watch them have fun"

"What's with you? You've been so quiet and antisocial since you said I do. Is this what marriage does to you? I may have to reconsider ever proposing to anyone"

"No this isn't what happens to most people"

"Mate talk to me. What's going on?"

"Nothing I can't figure out"

I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't notice Charlie approaching.

"Can I steal him for a moment"

"No need to steal him; he's all yours now"

She blushed and waited for Ed to excuse himself.

"Are you okay?"

"I am now" I tried to convince both of us.

"What happened last night?"

This was the question I was dreading since the moment I woke up this morning.

"I guess I drank too much"

"And that's why you didn't answer your phone all day?"

I looked down at my hands trying to come up with an explanation.

"It's okay. I was just worried. I didn't know if something had happened or if you changed your mind maybe-"

"Changed my mind? Charlie that's one thing I would never do"

"What was I suppose to think Harry? You came up with the idea to meet and then you're the one who didn't follow through"

"I'm sorry. I don't want to make any excuses. I just want to focus on us. Here, right now" I cupped her cheek as my conscience debated with my heart about telling her.

"Okay" she smiled.

"Mommy come dance" Aidan ran up and grabbed her hand.

"Come on" she smiled grabbing mine.

"I'll be over in a few minutes if that's alright"

She nodded and he led her back to the dance floor. Watching her spin him around, her terrible shoes kept peeking out from under her dress, he laughed enjoying every minute.

"How are you doing?"

Niall stood next to me with a beer in hand.

"I'm as good as I'm going to get"

"I think you should enjoy your night. Don't let her ruin the entire day"

"She's tainted one of the most important days of my life. She's already ruined it."

"Harry"

Charlie waved me over. Aidan too.

"I guess I should go out there for a little bit"

I stood up and headed in their direction. As I approached them something else caught my eye.

Ed was talking to some friends, however it was the girl in his lap that made me want to vomit right where I stood.
