My best bro,
To the dazzling sun,
I see you.
While the world doesn't realize it revolves around you,
I'm here.
I'm always here. Whether you want me to be or not, I'm always by your side.
And I miss you everyday and night.
Your dashing smile brightens up my mind.
While the world takes for granted, your light;
The light you don't notice burning within you for all of this time,
But I see you.
I see your dazzling eyes dim each year that goes by.
I see your heart combusting into a raging fire, cackling and crying at the same time.
I see your face melting away as you grow cold and distant.
I see the ashes with sparks of amber as you fade away.
Here I stand,
Once holding your hand,
now to find that I am alone.
On my own.
With no light to guide me.
Only darkness arising.
And I find myself crying...
Because you were my Home.
