"You don't have to worry about anything, I won't tell a soul."
That's what he said.
Class was long over but I am still here brooding about what happened this afternoon. So he was saying that we were classmates since middle school and been this close ever since day one and I did not even know his name? Plus, he knew that Raegan and I were childhood friends. Well, it does make sense. When we were kids, Raegan and I were inseparable. It was obvious that we were best buddies.
But, argh!
But to not recognize a classmate, it is either I'm an idiot or I'm an idiot. Plus, he has sat in front of me for years and I did not even know that we knew each other. I don't even know his name to boot. I, at least, need to talk to him about this again.
/knocks/
"Hey, I've come to pick you up." I turned outside when I heard a few knocks, followed by a voice and saw Raegan. I was still in the classroom and I did not even notice that everyone went home already. "Everyone's gone out."
I stood up and picked up my bag and walked his way, "Sorry, did you wait?"
"Not really." he said. "I was enjoying myself anyway."
"How did you know I was still in the classroom?"
"Let's just say that I know you too well." he just said slipping his hands on my bag. "I'll take this."
I sighed, "Even I could handle a light bag like that." I said, "Just give it here."
He shook his head and smiled, "How's your hand? Are you feeling any discomfort?"
"No. I feel fine." I just said, giving up the thought that I could get my bag back. The way he changed the topic should mean that he wanted me to concede. "It was just because of the spilt food that it stung. Now that it's cleaned, it's fine."
He nodded. "Okay, first we need to get your phone fixed." he checked his wrist watch for the time. "It's still past five so the shops should still be open."
"There's no need." I sighed, "I'm going to tell mom anyway and we'll pay you with the compensation for it too, it doesn't change anything."
He sighed, "Seriously, it's my fault so you don't have to do that."
"How is it even your fault? It was clearly my fault." I said.
"Let's not fight over something like this." he sighed, "I don't know why are we always fighting over the smallest things?"
"Isn't it because we get along just fine?" I said walking ahead. "We have always been like this ever since, isn't it because we get along just fine?" I turned to him who was wearing the weirdest face right now.
"Can I tell everyone we're childhood friends already?"
"No can do." I said gently hitting his forehead with my knuckles.

It was a Friday night and now we are experiencing what they call the Friday-rush hour. Because it is the day in the week, everyone's just busy around the mall doing what they want: be it shopping or just merely walking around. And we are just two of those people.
"It will take three hours to fix." the guy in the store examined my phone, "We need to install a new LCD, and while we're at it, I will upgrade the OS to the new one."
