Fatal Attraction. (Mindless Behavior Story)

Chapter 02 .

RECAP:

I was about 30 minutes away from school and I was listening to a cover of Diamonds but Justine Sky. While walking I sense someone running behind me. I turn around and see two very  familiar faces but I keep walking and think that I’m just hallucinating but I move over one side of my headphones to hear what they're saying.

The two behind me began talking like I couldn't hear them. “Hahaha. Roc stop , you gonna make me hurt this pretty little lady.” The first boy stated.

"So what , you're Princeton from Mindless behavior, you can do whatever you want.” The second boy identified as Roc joked.

When the first boy addressed the second as ‘Roc’, I realized that the familiar face wasn't a hallucination it was actually Jacob Emmanuel Perez my old dance partner and best friend. I think to myself for a little bit while the two joke behind me. What in the hell was he doing in Rhode island. Most of all why was Roc with him and where were the rest of the boys.

I didn't know what to do. I was torn between introducing myself calmly because I already knew Jacob or Princeton... Whoever..... I was also on the verge of totally FanGirling all over the place because I mean Mindless Behavior was THE hottest group out right now and Roc freaking Royal was behind me and that boy is all types of fine.

I finally pulled myself together and began to turn around to say hi. In a matter of seconds Jacob ran directly into me and we both fell over onto someones yard. He got up and helped me up. I checked to make sure my phone and headphones didn’t break.

Jacob pushed Roc which kinda scared me. I've never seen Jacob mad before.”DAMN ROC, I KNOW I TOLD YOU TO STOP FUCKIN PUSHING ME. YOU MADE ME RUN INTO--. He stopped mid sentence as he realized who I was.

“ I’m fine. I’m okkay.” I say trying not to stutter. I haven't talked to him or seen him face to face in over 5 years. I was in shock.

“No, no está bien (No, It’s not okkay).” He looked at Roc and got in his face. “Apologize.!” Jacob was always so protective of me. Like an older brother. I liked it. I always felt protected with him. Especially with my birth parents, he was always there for me.

“Fine i’m sorry. Are you happy now.” Roc asserted. I was standing off onto the corner kinda scared. I don’t know what was going on. “For what.??” Jacob questioned.

“Jacob, Estoy bien. Yo estoy bien. Por favor, cálmate (Jacob, I'm fine. I'm okay. Please calm down).” I said grabbing his arm. When I touched him so many memories went through my mind.

Jacob backed up from Roc and apologized for getting so angry. We stand there for a little bit talking and laughing about old times. After about 10 minutes i announced that I had only 20 minutes to get to school. Jacob offered to give me a ride and had Roc call Kenneth. 5 more minutes pass and Jacob tells me hes going to spend the rest of the day with me.

“I don’t understand. Don’t you have some sort of work to do.? And wouldn’t you fear being mauled by crazy girls.?” I question. I mean he may be just another boy to me but to Team Mindless, He’s their little Mucho.

“Look around. Me and Roc have been walking around all day and nothing happened. Plus we have a free day today so i can spend all day with my Chuchi Misfit.” He joked. He’s always joking about one thing or another. Kenneth shows up in a black Lexus with very tinted windows and got out of the car. He’s a rather tall individual so i’m not sure how can fit into the car.

Jacob walked over to Kenneth and began talking to him. “Wassup Afro. What’s so so urgent.?” Kenneth questioned. “I'm going to school today.” Jacob implied. I could barely hear what they were saying but by the look on Kenneth’s face I could tell he was mad confused. “ Wait WHAT.? i’m lost” He points at me and says “Who’s that.? Wait why are you not at the bowling alley like you said you were.?” He interrogated.

“See what had happened was” Roc began to explain but got cut off by Jacob. “It’s a long story, I’ll explain at the hotel.” He answered. “ Um, Excuse me. School starts in 15 minutes.” I added. I hate being late for school.

“Alright get it. What's the principals number.?” Kenneth opened the door for us and had me put the principals phone number into his phone. “Where is this school at.” He asked. “Just go straight about 12 blocks and it’s on left.” I replied.

Kenneth calls my principal and kenneth tried to convince him to let Jacob attend the school for the day. Here is how their conversation went.

(Kenneth on the phone with the principal)

Kenneth: Well guess what, I don’t care if there’s no room in her class, Princeton is going to the school today.

Principal: Well I apologize for any trouble but Princeton or Jacob whoever cannot attend this school today.

Kenneth: It’s only for one damn day at your school , you should be honored to have 1/4th of MINDLESS BEHAVIOR at your damn school. *Hangs up the phone & Mumbles to himself* Stupid principal, Thought he had some authority over me. Psshhtt no. Nigga im grown.

(End of conversation)

I tried not to laugh in the back. It was too funny. “It’s right here.” I added breaking the silence. Kenneth pulled over , got out and opened the door by me. “Have fun kids.” He said with a mischievous smirk on his face. “Kenneth, I’m 16” Jacob stated. He always hated being called a kid. No matter how young he was, He was always grown. “And i'm not so to me you're a kid. Let me know when you hit 21” kenneth joked. “Why can't I go to school.” Roc whined from the back seat. “They already don’t want afro there so your loud ass won't make matters any better.” Kenneth joked.
