"is something bothering you?"

it's the night before the news broke out. after hyeongjun's advice, minhee called yunseong and the two met outside their dorm.

"just follow me hyung, please." minhee said, reaching out his hand and the older didn't think twice before interlocking their fingers.

it's a cold and breezy night, a different atmosphere compared to their walk from the restaurant. something about the place's ambiance gives minhee chills. the thoughts are slowly creeping back but he remembered hyeongjun's words and just brushed them off.

"we're chilling at your place?" yunseong asked and minhee shook his head.

"we're going to talk at the rooftop." minhee said, dragging him upstairs.

"talk about what???" yunseong asked but minhee didn't answer, "minhee, what's wrong????"

to say yunseong is confused an understatement. earlier this morning, he gave him a heart shaped chocolate box and he will never forget how surprised and happy he looked that time.

which is why he couldn't find a reason for minhee to act this way. when the younger called him, he expected to hear a bright voice from the other line but what he got was a soft "meet me outside the dorms, please." before the call ended.

"we're here now. so, can you please tell me why you're acting strange? is it because of the gift i gave you? didn't you like it?" yunseong asked, ready to apologize.

"it's not that." minhee finally spoke after checking if any of his dormmates followed them. "i just want to talk to you about something."

"okay, i am all ears." yunseong said and minhee started explaining,

"hyeongjun and i talked earlier about commitment and i-"

"mini, i am not rushing you to date me." yunseong cut him off and minhee placed his arms on his waist, getting annoyed.

"stop cutting my sentences, you'll get the wrong idea." minhee said and yunseong apologized. "going back, ever since we um.... confessed." he air-quoted, "i couldn't sleep well, i was busy thinking about what will happen us after this."

minhee went closer to yunseong and held caressed his hand, "i didn't understand myself that time. i know that i want to date you but something was stopping me. it wasn't until that talk with hyeongjun when i realized that i am afraid of commitment."

yunseong frowned, he was about to speak when minhee opened his mouth again to talk, "but not only did i realized that fear but i also realized that i can fight it and you're a living inspiration!"

"yunseong hyung, you've fought a lot for me and your dreams. if i can't fight this silly thought then why did i even confess in the first place?" minhee asked, "everything is new to me but i can't always stay in my comfort zone, right?"

yunseong didn't know what to answer, he was busy thinking about ways to comfort minhee since the latter has been overthinking ever since that night.

his thoughts were then interrupted when minhee spoke,

"which is why i am asking you to be my boyfriend, hwang yunseong."

"what?" yunseong asked, his eyes widened, "did i hear it right?"

minhee chuckled, nodding. "yes, so can we be boyfriends now?"

due to excitement yunseong couldn't help but peck his lips, "this is your final answer, okay? no take backs!"

minhee laughed, a bit surprised at the peck. "yes, hyung. but you didn't answer me though."

"isn't that peck enough for you? yunseong asked, hugging him tightly.
