After few years,
Sunlight through the window, television running in the bedroom, I was playing with a soda can in the hall; soda can is my favorite toy now. “Hey Winter” called Jassi, I ran into her. She took me into her hands and asked me to get into the car. I jumped into the car’s front seat and Jassi was in driving seat, seat belts buckled, she started the car. She turned car radio after a mile, I was looking out the window and I heard Jassi humming the song in the radio, passed few stores on the streets, Jassi took the cliff road. I was enjoying the Jassi hum looking out the car watching the mountains pass by, moments later, a car from the opposite road hydroplaned and bumped into our car, Jassi took the big steer to left and in flash our car flipped over the cliff, rolled down into the forest and I just blacked out for moments. A while later I got conscious and I looked at Jassi, she was hanging upside down in the driver seat unconscious, I was on front glass, glass started to crack and I couldn’t get hold of anything I just fell out the car as the glass broke. In air closer to death again, I fell into a lake and got saved, Life is sometimes miracle it gives you chances. I swam to the bank, my heart was pounding hard with fear, all I could see is our car got stuck on a tree branch at a height and I was howling loud from the shore. Jassi still unconscious hanging upside down, I was howling in fear and pain, It’s getting dark, I was looking at Jassi, being helpless but with little hope. After some time I could see some moment in car and I could see Jassi coming back to conscious. Upside down in her car, she just pulled of her car seat and fell down into the lake, I could see her swimming back to the shore, I was howling looking at her in joy and I ran back to her in water. We both swam back to shore, I immediately jumped on her and I was all licking her on face happy that she is back to me. “Hey winter, you okay my love?” is all her first words after she came back to conscious, she took me into her arms, kissing me and she was making sure I was okay, for moments we both were in tears of joy looking at each other alive.
