We both sat on the shore all wet wondering lost, looking at our car sliding down the branches and falling into the lake. Car sank in the lake. Jassi jumped back into the lake leaving me alone, I was just on my feet waiting. After few minutes, Jassi was back on to the shore with her back pack, she took out her phone from her pocket and it’s all water and looks dead. She stamped her feet to the floor with a grind of anger in her face helpless. We realized we got lost in this forest not knowing which way to go, Jassi started to scream out loud in anger kicking the grass and all I could do is watch her.
It’s getting darker and darker; we started to walk in some direction into the woods hoping our way out through the woods. Walked for miles, we sat on a stone; she unzipped the back pack, she fed me some chips, and she was having few to. Soon  it become thick dark, crickets chirping, we found ourselves a small cave, Jassi bought some wood pieces, she took out the lighter from her back pack and lit up a camp fire, we warmed ourselves and fell asleep.

Dawn chorus, sunrays walking over us, Watching Jassi struggling to sleep as the sunrays kissing her face interrupting her sleep, I stood up to give her some shade. After a while she woke up and she started petting me, she took out some biscuits from her bag and fed me. We started our walk, walking  into the woods, hearing the birds chirping, I was fearless this time even though we got lost in these woods, I made it alone last time and knew I got Jassi by my side this time, I was wondering what she was going through in her head though. We just walked miles and miles into woods, no sign off our way out.
Days passed, miles of walk, out of food, out of water, we started to starve, I was looking at Jassi, “Don’t worry winter, today I’m going to get us dinner” said Jassi making a bow, she was sharpening a stick with her multi tool keychain. Looking for some sing for a hunt, moments later we heard a crackling sound in the woods, “shh!” Jassi whispered, aiming the arrow in silence Jassi left the arrow to flight, in flash the arrow hit a rabbit cutting trough the wind and leaves. I rushed, grabbed the rabbit and back to her.
