"Chim, I'll have to complete the pack induction so you can link with everyone. I'll do that in my office right after this" Jeon says and I nod my head in answer.
"I forgot my brother is on his way. He told me he has something to talk to me about" I tell him remembering my brother's text.
Jeon raises an eyebrow in question and I shrug.
He rubs my thigh comforting me and letting me know he's there for me and I smile.
It's nice knowing I'm not on my own anymore. Once breakfast is finished, we head to Jeon's office.
"I have the Alpha's from the subdivisions waiting on video call" Jeon announces as we settle around the large table in his office.
He picks up a tablet and then the large TV screen lights up on the wall and we see four faces flash onto the screen.
"Morning Jeon" they all say
"Let me introduce my mate Chim, Chim, Sal is top right Alpha of the West. Kie is top left, Alpha of the East. Bottom right is Max Alpha of the South and last but not least is Link Alpha of the North Silver Lake pack" Jeon informs me.
"Gentlemen, good to meet you and I hope that we will get to know each other more, once this is all over" I tell them.
They greet me back and Jeon holds up a hand
"I need to have Chim linked to the whole pack. So, if your ready" he says.
They all say "we welcome Alpha Jeon's mate Chim to the Silver Lake pack. To watch over and help all pack members with a loving heart and wise hand. We welcome you"
I feel Saint and Selene sit up straight and take notice as I feel the power begin to flow through me.
"I Jeon Deep Alpha of the Silver Lake Pack accept Chim into the pack as my mate and equal. May we stand firm in times of need and show love with wisdom to all pack members" Jeon says
I feel my body heat and then my head is filled with hundreds of voices welcoming me to the pack. I say thank you and then put up the wall stopping the noise in my head.
I blink a couple of times and breath deeply a few times to regain my composure.
"Wow, that is a lot of members" I whisper for only Jeon to hear.
I nod my head to the TV and then we get down to business.
Halfway through the meeting, I feel something pushing on the wall I've got up in my head.
I let it down a little and hear a child crying out for help. I open my mind a little more "can you tell me your name and where you are?" I ask through the link.
"I'm Arron and my Dad is doing bad things" he answers
"where are you Arron? I'll come and help" I try and assure him.
"I don't know where I am" he answers
"Can you see outside or your surroundings?" I ask
'Saint' I call
'I got it' he assures me.
I close my eyes and watch as Saint does his thing. I don't know how it works but Saint can see through other shifters eyes when they open to him. I see trees at first which doesn't tell me much.
Then the image changes and I realise where he is.
"It's all good Arron, I'm on my way. Find somewhere to hide and keep a quiet as you can" I tell him.
