It's the first day of ninth grade for Maddie Jackson and she's pretty nervous just as any transfer student would be.She ties the shoelaces of her white sneakers and pulls on the hood of her soft grey sweater as she wonders."Is life even worth living?" But her thoughts are interrupted by her moms soft gentle voice.
"Maddie , darling you're going to be late come on down!!" She reluctantly grabs her bag, puts it over her shoulder and makes her way downstairs.As she made her way down, she couldn't help but wonder what her first day of school would be like.
Just as she's about to overthink things again, she's interrupted by the sound of what seem to be very loud teenagers, Maddie let's put a painful sigh as she realizes she's at the front gate of Southmoore high school. Maddie not in the mood to get to know anyone makes her way down the long and endless hallway. Suddenly she is bumped by a tall, fair boy with deep blue eyes and straw blonde hair. As she gets back up onto her feet she sees him and a jolt of electricity runs through her body as she gets lost in he's ocean like eyes.
