"Um-hey I'm Marcus Smith and you are?"
"Oh-uh hey I'm Maddie Jackson...transfer student"
Maddie pulls herself together and wipes the drool off the side of her lip and walks away as she hears the bell blaring in her ears. Maddie gets through the rest of the day, barely making it as her depressing thoughts are running wild!!!Suddenly her depressing thoughts are drifting away as she sees the handsome Marcus Smith sitting next to her!
Just before the end of the day an important meeting is called by the principal Mr. Rooney to discuss some "exciting" news. All the students gather in the hall, all eyes fixed on Mr Rooney as he fixes he's tie and gets ready to address 800 eager students.
"Good afternoon students, I know I have called you here on short notice and I apologize for that, but I have AMAZING news to share with you all. For the first time in 50 years Southmoore High is hosting a dance! The dance will take place two weeks from now and may I add that you may take anyone from our school with you. BEST OF LUCK!"
