It's Monday, one week after the announcement of Southmoores big dance and everybody is rushing to look for a date! But Maddie Jackson
has only one person on her mind that she wants to ask out...But will he beat her to it? Meanwhile...in the cafeteria Marcus sits with a pen and paper trying to write a letter to ask Maddie to the dance.
For the past few days Marcus only has her on he's mind...To his surprise he sees Maddie sitting alone at a lunch table as she usually does. Marcus finally musters the courage to pull up a chair and sit next to the girl he deems breathtaking!
"Hi Maddie how are you doing?"
"Oh-uh hi Marcus I'm horrible as always"
"Well...we'll have to fix that now won't we? And I think I have just the thing"
"Oh do you now?"
Yes I do...Um I was thinking ummm maybe..."
"YES?"
"I was thinking you'd like to go to the dance with me next week?"
"Yeah cool my life sucks anyway what's one night out?"
"Right...I'll pick you up next Friday.See you then Maddie"
Maddie doesn't feel as depressed as she once did but rather a little hopeful that Marcus smith might actually have feelings for her!!
