" Soph, come back here now and tell me what you've done with my favourite dress!" I yelled, giggling.
——————————————————————————Sophie Hallen had been my bestfriend since birth. Our parents went to college together and became as close as sisters - they practically raised me and Sophie the same. Tomorrow our families were going on vacation to Hawaii - we couldn't wait! The only sad part is I'm going to be away from my boyfriend Cory for the whole summer I'm just thankful I have Sophie to help me through it. Sophie doesn't have a boyfriend, she thinks they're overrated. She says and I quote, 'A bestfriend will make you feel better and love you more than a boy ever will... that's why I have you!'
Sophie has a brother. He's 2 years older than us and his names Chase. I never really pay much attention to what he says. He's popular and he's a jerk. When we were little I guess he was kinda cool but apart from that... nahhhh!

-2 hours later-
Finally Sophie and I had finished packing! It was late so I texted my mom to let her know I was just going to stay at Soph's and meet her, dad and Katie at the airport in the morning. Sophie and I spent our night tanning, doing eachothers nails and basically prepping for our awesome summer. We didn't sleep until at least 4, we wanted to tire ourselves out so we slept on the plane.
-The next morning-
We woke up instantly excited and ran downstairs to have breakfast. Sophie's mom, Carrie's iconic blueberry pancakes. When we finished breakfast we hurried to the staircase eager to get dressed.
"Sophie, go wake up you're brother. He's SO lazy!" Carrie yelled.
"Okayyyy mommmmm!" We yelled back laughing.
"Typical Chase" I muttered to Soph.
We smiled at eachother.
Me and Sophie bursted into Chase's room and poured a jug of ice cold water over him.
"There ya go! Now you don't have to shower! We're the best, right?" I joked.
"I hate you both", Chase exclaimed in a tired voice.
-1 hour later-
"Kids, the taxi's here!" Tom, Sophie's Dad, called.
"AHHH!" Me and Sophie squealed.
We exchanged a grin and then went downstairs. We couldn't wait.
