Chapter 9

I was still kinda sleepy but I knew this was very important to them and us. "Why did you leave the abnegation site?" I looked at Eric then I turned my head ti the leader. I really want to answer him. "I couldn't watch anyone else get shot there at all we will go back we promise." He smiles and nodded the shiver our stuff in our hand we put our dauntless clothes back on Thur washed it while we slept here. We ran out if the condor compound as fast as we could I was so scared that they will find us. Until we heard john voice in the background. He ran to catch up to us I was surprised. "Where were you guys last night." We looked we weren't scared of him he was trying  to be scary but he wasn't tricking us at all. "We were scouting the compounds for any abnegation people. Ok? That's what Eric told him so we wouldn't have tell him the fucking  truth. He was so easy to lie too but he didn't tell a difference from telling the truth and telling a lie. We walked  to the abnegation compound we saw every dauntless person there standing up and John just left to go back to the dauntless compound. I saw my family looking at me like they are pissed off and I knew  they were I went up to them. "Why did you take your old clothes and Calebs clothes during the night?"I took some breathes and looked to my dad in the eye and I was about to scream at him but I know I'm not at all I'm not trying to make a scene here. "The reason why I took some clothes it was for me and Eric so we could run and go to the condor compound and stay for a few days s and next year I have a choice to make to stay in dauntless or to leave the compound. So do you Caleb and half of the abnegation does too. We didn't  get tested again we have our ceremony  before the other new ones." They looked at me an ether  weave came over that was the end if our conversation for now I guess. Eric took me so he can tell  me the news. "So abnegation is good we can go back to the  dauntless compound there is no trouble here at all."I looked at my family and waved  goodbye they waved back.

I still have my abnegation clothes form the ceremony I stole them off my dresser and I stole my brothers abnegation ceremony  clothes. He didn't act like he cared about the clothes but he did like a  little girl.  I ran to catch the train I couldn't grab on at all so Eric helped me in the damn train. I hugged him then sat in a nasty on the ground for awhile. He sat next to me end I looked out of the door. I saw every compound expect ours. "Eric  best will happen if I pick a foddering faction then dauntless?" He looked at me and he knew I can only choose dauntless  I was scared to death I didn't know what I would do. "Kristen the dauntless faction would never forgive  you for what you could do at the ceremony they will think that you betrayed them and make them think that it wasn't worth your time or the leaders time." I was looking out if the window when he talking. I didn't know what to think at all maybe my mind is just messing with me right now but I love the dauntless faction and the compound. But I don't want to stay in the dauntless compound forever only young people live where does the old dauntless people go when the get old. Maybe amity is the best option for me next year and now I know what dauntless do and what do to. I don't want to kill people. I jumped off the train and landing in the dauntless compound roof and jumped in the hole. I saw everyone and even the transfers they looked very worried about me and what happened to me. I just went just went back to my compartment because I just want to be alone right now. I wished I didn't pick dauntless this wouldn't even happen at all. Sometimes I think my life deserves to be in abnegation or amity but I chose dauntless for some reason. I saw Eric standing in my doorway I didn't know what to say to him at all. "What's up Eric?" He had a smile in his face and he gave me a paper that had my name on it I didn't inspect mail or anything right now I betrayed my own family. "I talkEd ti the leader of dauntless and he wants you to be a leader for the transfers next year if you pick  dauntless Be excited ok?" I smiled and grabbed the paper out if his hand and out it in  my desk where my books are for school. "Thanks Eric I'm going to take a shower so I will be down I'm a few." He patted in my back the left for dinner. I heard my door slam that's when I got in my shower. I love the warm and hot water. It feels so good in your back and your hair. I got  dressed and went down to go eat dinner. Everyone was looking me and I didn't know what  to do. Eric grabbed my arm and took me where he was sitting  with his best mates that he had since he arrived to dauntless.

  I barely ate my dinner and I was just listening to Eric conversation with his friend it was actually interesting to hear. I was laughing a little when they made a funny comment about John I didn't care what they said about him. No one was looking like I just killed someone from here I would never kill anyone here this place is like a second him to me but this isn't where I want to stay but this like a safe zone for me. I saw Ella waving me and I knew she wanted to talk alone to me because of my test results.
