After School

Emily's pov
Once practice was over, I decided to call Alison to make sure she was okay since she went home after what happened this morning.

Even though I was a little upset with her, she is still my friend and at the end of the day, I love her. Not like that, but..you get it.

Straight to voicemail as usual.

I sighed and threw my phone in the passenger seat next to me.

I pulled out of my parking spot and drove off.

I decided to go over to Hanna's cause I was bored and didn't wanna go home.

I texted my mom that I was gonna be home a little late tonight as I pulled up to Hanna's.

I walked up to the door and knocked.

I was greeted by a woman with auburn hair and she smiled at me.

"Hi, are you a friend of Hanna's?"

"Oh, yes. I'm Emily Fields" I told her as we shook hands.

"Nice to meet you, you can call me Ashley. Just not, Mrs. Marin. Makes me feel old" She said as she let me in to her home.

"Okay, Ashley" I laughed as we looked up and I saw Hanna walk down her stairs.

"Oh, hey Em" She smiled but furrowed her eyebrows since I didn't tell her I was coming over.

"Hey" I said.

"Come up" She said, motioning to the stairs.

I smiled back at Ashley and walked up the stairs behind Hanna.

"So, what's up?" Hanna asked, sitting on her bed as she resumed her episode of Vampire Diaries.

"Nothing, just didn't want to go home so I decided to come here" I shrugged as she ate the bag of chips on her bed.

"Oh, okay" She smiled and leaned back on her headboard.

"So, what'd you think was up with Alison that she had to leave early?" Hanna asked, looking at me.

"I don't know" I shrugged, Hanna nodded.

"No, you know I do know" I said, sighing.

I closed my eyes and continued, "Hanna, if I tell you this, promise you won't tell anyone?" I asked, desperately.

"Wow, Damon I so hot..oh uh yeah, promise" She said, getting back on topic.

"Yesterday, Alison and I kissed" I said, with my eyes closed.

"You what!?" She yelled, sitting up looking me dead in the eyes.

"Hanna!" I whisper-yelled as I got up and locked the door.

"You and Alison kissed!?" She emphasised the word, 'kissed'.

"Yes.."

"Why?!"

"Well, she was ignoring me all week so I went over to her house and we kinda kissed" I sighed and put my head in my hands.

Hanna's eyes widened as she looked like she just realized something.

"Oh my god" Hanna whispered to herself.

"What?"

"That's what she was talking about" Hanna said out loud which I think she didn't mean to.

"What? Hanna?! What was who talking about?!" I said, confused as I grabbed her arms.

"Alison" She breathlessly said.
