Next Day, Saturday September 15

Emily's pov
I shifted under the blankets and slowly opened my eyes.

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked around, realizing I wasn't in my room.

I looked to my side and saw someone wrapped up in the blanket, in my arms.

Then, I smiled as I saw the blonde hair and remembered last night.

But, my smile quickly turned into a frown as I also remembered what else happened, Maya.

"Stop moving" I heard the blonde mumble into my shoulder.

I smiled and she took her head out from my chest and looked at me.

"Hi" She said, sweetly with a smile.

"Hi" I responded with a smile, biting my lip as I gazed into her cerulean ocean blue eyes.

I propped myself up on my left arm and brushed a piece of hair away from her face.

She smiled and blushed lightly.

"Em.." She whispered and traced the light colored bruise on my cheek from last night.

I sadly smiled at her and laid back down as she got up and walked over to her bathroom.

"I'm gonna get a shower, I'll be quick" She said, tying her hair in a loose messy bun that rested on top of her head.

I nodded and turned the tv on, watching Outer Banks.

About 10 minutes later, Ali cane out in a towel and she had water dropping from her body.

"Oh, sorry" I covered my eyes, earning a giggle from her.

"You don't have to look away, you know" She said, tilting her head as she picked clothes from her dresser.

"Oh.." I took my hands away slowly and she was back in the bathroom.

I sighed and returned my attention to the tv.

Couple minutes later, she came out in an off the shoulder sweater and jean shorts, her hair down and no make-up.

She looked beautiful.

"You look nice" I said as she sat down next to me and rested her head against the headboard.

"Why, thank you" She put her hand to her chest in a playful manner.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head, which she giggled at.

"I should go" I said, looking at her.

"Do you have to?" She pouted.

I giggled and nodded.

"Fine, but let me walk you to the door" She said, standing up.

I smiled and walked downstairs with her in front of me.

"I'll see you, monday?" She said.

"Monday" I nodded and leaned in for a kiss.

She went in for a hug, and we both had our eyes closed, so we hit heads.

We both just laughed it off.

"Uh..bye" I said, awkwardly putting out my hand.

She shook it and I walked outside to my car.

I got in and waved to her, standing at the door.

I drove off and I was home within seconds, us living pretty much right next to each other since she was neighbors with Spencer.
