what is happening to me?

i am flying literally off the ground. it was that moment that jolted me what am i exactly? is this a dream? its too real to be just a dream! gravity seemed to have found its way to me....i felt like im falling i cant fly. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!" i screamed so loud till i am out of breath. it was reaching the ground....the cold air...

"OMG WHAT IS HAPPENING!!!....HOW....HOW DID I END UP HERE!" i yelled in my thoughts.

"sweetie whats wrong? is it another dream?" my mother asked worriedly.

"did you sleep walk or what happen? Audrey? talk to us..." daddy comforted me. 

i pointed and looked up, " mom i dont know what is wrong with me anymore? how can i drop from the ceiling? what am i? am i not a real human? mom answer me..." i pleaded

however they just put me to bed and said they will tell me more things that i need to know tomorrow.

i could not sleep...what exactly am i? how can i fall through ceilings? 

my eye lids got heavier and i surrendered to sleep...

dawn break.

"mum? dad? what is it do you have to tell me?" i asked

"look Audrey....your dad and i have been keeping secrets from you...you have been asking why do we have black hair when you have brown and why is our eyes black when yours are blue...see we are not your biological parents. we adopte you when you are a baby and we decided to name you Audrey. when you are delivered to home we found a note saying that you are actually called Kitty Pryde. So we decided to leave your original name and let you be called Audrey as your first name. we love you Audrey and we really did not meant to keep this secret from you...we know it is really hard for you to take it all in right now but listen dear no matter what happen you are still our child we will never let you go. last night was just an accident alright? forget that and move on darling. we are so sorry." mum explained

huh? so i am now their real child? this is so confusing!

"mum, dad its fine...i am fine...now that i know the truth its definitely better and moreover you are still my parents i will never forget that. the truth does not change my feelings for you guys! you guys are the best parents, best people i could ever ask for! love you guys forever! and about last night i promise you, i will forget everything and move on. okay? now i gotta get to school. love u!" i smile and kissed their cheeks and left for school.

i know that half of me is lying...i know that i will never  be able to forget what happen last night. but half of me is saying the truth..its always better to know the truth...after all they are the people who took care of me for 14 years...why would i not love them? :))

science class just begun. well i must say i, i am not very fond of science classes. 

"piak" my pen dropped onto the floor. 

i bent down to get it instead i fell right THROUGH tthe table. everyone had their head turned back and i just simply said no big deal guys go back to study. 

it is a big deal a very huge one! i dont get it what is happening to me??

during break time i ran to the school's garden. that is where i always calm myself down. 

moments of silence really create peace for me.

"Hi! am i disturbing you?" i turned around and i saw that it is Jean. 

"no not really i just wanted peace." i muttered

"something bothering you?" she asked

yeah...i told her everything. 

"Audrey..look i have something to tell you...what happened to you was not a trick not magic not dream it was YOU. you let yourself there...you are not normal...and so am i...i am a telepathy...and as for your case you are a phaser..." she told me

"what no! i am perfectly normal!" i retorted

"scott is a cyclops...and we are all called mutants...look we have been looking for you since yesterday...we located you in the middle of the night with the help of Professor...and we have been searching everywhere for you since midnight."

i dont believe her...i cant believe her...she is my best friend...but some things just stop me from believing her...i dont know who to believe anymore...who am i?!??!

i ran away as fast as i could. this is where i banged into Lance. he is a pain in the ass and he is very annoying super annoying.

i didnt know what i was doing so i just went past him. he took hold of my arm and said" did you just see that...? you are a mutant anad i need your help. i am a mutant too but help me go in to the principal office and take the answer key ok?" he begged.

"WHAT IS WITH EVERYBODY? I AM NOT A MUTANT! I AM AUDREY KITTY PRYDE!" i shouted. 

he decided to show me what "powers" he have. i started to believe him and decided to help him too.

we broke in to the office and took the answer key and this is the moment where Jean arrived. she took my hand and used her powers to control Lance. they fought using their powers and this is trulyl amazing. wow. just wow.

lance pulled me and the walls start crashing " if i die you die with me gullible bitch!" he yelled. i was scared and angry. i heard jean and my parents shouting and calling ou t for me. i decided if i could phase through walls, phasing through rubble should be easy too.

i did it and i am out of the mess we left quickly.

i see my parents and jean stamding there. 

i finally know what am i. 

I. AM. A. MUTANT.
