I wake up to wetness all over my face. I realize it's slobber and it was koda who was licking me. I get up and see koda on the floor. But that's not all, there was blood all around him and his stomach wasn't moving. Tears fill my eyes as I walk over to him. How could this happen. I thought. I blended down ad started stroking him. I close my eyes and I feel licking on my hand. I open my eyes and see koda licking me. I was so shocked that I yanked my hand away. He trotted over to the couch and pulle something out. It was a rabbit. It's stomach and throat was ripped out. I was confused. Than I realized that it probably got in the house and koda attacked it and stared eating it that was y there was blood everywhere and I didn't see him breathing cuz my eyes were still getting used to te light. I was so glad he was alright. I slipped my cowboy boots on and headed out side. I saw Kono and was realived that he wa alright. I took some horse feed out of my backpack that was in the barn and put it in Kono's stall. I walked back into the house and made some breakfast for me and put some dog food on a plate for koda. After breakfast I cleaned everything up and stuffed more food in my backpack walked to the backyard and put a bridle on Kono, I also put koda in my backpack so he could stick his head out while I was riding kono. I texted uncle j and told him that I was livin the house to go a find a better place to stay closer in town. I gave Kono a little kick with my heels and he started trotting. After a while we were gallopin around and we came up to some train tracks. If there was train tracks it meant that a town would be near by. I slowed Kono down to walk and saw a creek so I took us over to it. Once we reached the creek I took koda out of my backpack so he could drink and I let Kono drink too. After 10 minutes they both did there business an we were on the road again. We were walking along the train tracks until I heard a train. It was coming from behind us and I know Kono would probably spook. I kicked Kono an he galloped as fast as he could and I stered him towards the woods and I made him stand. I waited for the train to pas before we walked back out of the woods. It seemed like forever before we could finally see some buildings.
