Chapter 4

The photoshoot took up the rest of the day and as sundown approached the staff quickly wrapped up. It was mesmerising to see all the different colours melt into the once dull blue sky. Nevertheless, the spring air was still cold and staff quickly wrapped up the members as they took their final group shot together.

Their smiles were all peaceful as they reminisced on their old memories together by the river, watching over them felt surreal, it was almost like watching a clip of your favourite film that never failed to make you smile. Even if you paused the moment or recalled the soundtrack that played in the background you would still be reminded of that moment. It made my heart feel completely at ease as if they were made to be together, happy and laughing like this. Seven pieces of a puzzle that entwined perfectly together.

'That's a wrap!' The photographer shouted and Suga was the first scurrying off cheering at the aspect of going home. I held out the large jackets for Taehyung and Jin. 'Thank you.' They both chimed in chorus as they followed everyone else inside. Ran shouted my name and waved me over to come and take a look at the pictures. 'So what do you think?' She asked the photographer was busy packing away his things. I quickly scrolled through the images of both the solo and group shots and I couldn't deny, it was impressive. 'They turned out amazing!' I smiled. The photographer paid little attention to my compliment and nodded and bowed politely as he folded down the remains of his equipment.

'Are you free for dinner tonight? Pretty sure the others were going out tonight,' Ran hummed 'Who?' I asked, Ran tugged her thumb across her chin trying to recall the information. 'The stylists, I think Jungkook said he'd come too.' Ran finally replied. We finally started walking back to the main building, 'It's not until 8 pm tonight and we're going to be meeting at a small place Misa's family owns. They close it off for us so we can have a bit of fun without paparazzi trying to make a scandal.' Ran explained, I checked the time it was only 5:30 pm, we'd finished earlier than planned. I thought it would give me a chance to get ready before meeting up. 'If that's okay with everyone else I would love to tag along.' I smiled and accepted her invitation.

Everyone had already left, Ran and I were a few of the people left she drove me back to the main offices to pick up my stuff and she dropped me off at home. We made small chit chat in regards to what the restaurant was like so I had an idea of what to wear to make sure I wouldn't be too underdressed or overdressed either.

'So you've got the address and you know where you're going right?' Ran asked one final time as I smiled and nodded 'Yes, thank you for the lift home. I appreciate it, I'll see you at 8.' I waved her goodbye as she drove away. I entered our apartment and my sister wasn't back home yet. I looked at the time and noticed it was 6:20 pm, surely she'd be home by now... My heart sank into my chest and I could feel my brain already playing out the worst-case scenarios. I took a deep breath, don't panic, I pulled out my phone and dialled her number. It rang three times before she answered.

'Thank god! Are you safe? Where are you?' I frantically asked. 'Can you breathe and calm down for a second.' She calmly replied. 'Right. Sorry, are you okay?' I asked with a more relaxed tone this time. 'If you paid attention, our fridge is empty, I'm just picking up some shopping. I went out for dinner with some girls from my class. I'll be home in over an hour.' She stated. 'Sorry, sorry I just panicked. I've been invited out again tonight, did you want me to-...' I didn't get a chance to finish my sentence before she cut me off.

'Go, make some friends. Live your life and not worry for once.' she laughed. 'If I'm gone before you get home, I love you. I'll be home before midnight.' I replied. 'I love you too, send me a picture of your outfit if you need any help.' She offered. 'Okay, thanks I love you, see you when you get home.' I clicked the phone and ended the call.
