Prologue

"Mom, please I want to go to school."

"No! Peia. Don't be hard headed. You can study here in the house. "

"But mom I want to have a normal life atleast before things goes worst. I want to enjoy my remaining years, mom.

"Dad? please. I promise I'll be a good girl."

"No! Victor it will just make her situation worse."

"Mom!!"

"Peia, go to your room first. Your mom and I will talk first."

"(Sigh)..Fine!!"

Napaiyak na lang ako sa kwarto sa frustration na nararamdaman ko ngayon. Why they can't understand. Gusto kong maranasan kahit papano mabuhay ng normal. Na walang inaalalang sakit na araw-araw kailangan pumunta ng doctor. I want to taste life before it ends. Buhay na katulad sa ibang tao na masaya, pumapasok sa totoong paaralan. Hinde sa bahay.

"Peia can I come in?" Napalingon ako kay Dad ng pumasok ito.

"Hey, my princess stop crying. Papangit ka nyan"

I smiled because of that.

"Si mom kasi dad ehh... why can't she understand me. I just want to study in a school were students really go." sumbong ko dito

"You're mom is just scared for you. You know how much we love you right? Ikaw lang ang nag-iisa naming anak. Natatakot lang kami baka biglang ma triggered ang sakit mo."

"But dad I just have less than 5 years. I want to spend it with happy memories. And do the things that I never experience."

Dad smile sadly, "I know, kaya napag usapan namin nang mama mo na payagan ka na sa gusto mo."

"Ta-talaga dad?" Hinde makapaniwalang tanong ko. And when he nodded I can't help to shout.

"YES!! thanks dad I love you so much I can meet new people na and have a friend" excited na sabi ko.

"But in one condition you will have a bodyguard" dad said kaya napasimangot ako.

"But..."

"No buts...you will have your bodyguard or you can't go to school. Choose?"

"Ok..ok.. Bodyguard then" I sighed mabuti nang may bodyguard na lang kaysa hinde ako payagang pumasok.

"Hahaha...That's my girl"

"Whatever dad"

"You should thank your mom. This is hard for her. Okay?"

"Yes, Dad I love you. You and mommy" sabay halik ko sa pisngi nya.

Finally I can go to school. I will enjoy this short freedom of mine, though I have bodyguards pero atleast. Napangiti na lng ako sa naisip ko.
