Third PPOV

The lonely boy with messy black hair was lost and confused in a large and crowded train station. He was left by his only human companion, even if it was supposed to be for a while. And was called a time-waster by one of the guards when he desperately needed help. He thought all hope was lost until he heard a familiar word.

A man gruffly voiced, "Ugh, it's overly crowded with filthy muggles."

The boy turned in the direction of the voice and saw a small family of four, all with easily recognizable blond hair. He knew who the son was, almost in an instant. In desperation, the lost boy pushed his cart in the family's direction. He was within hearing distance and overheard the rest of their conversation.

"Hush, Lucius. We're in the muggle world, and I know you have your opinions, but it'd be much better if they weren't voiced. Besides, it's Draco's day."

The man, Lucius, scowled at his wife.

The nervous boy decided to speak up, "Erm...Excuse me?"

The wife turned toward the young boy and gave him a soft smile. "Yes, dear?

"Narcissa-"

The woman, now known to be named Narcissa cut her husband off. "Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Um, yes, actually." He hesitated, "The thing is I...I'm not sure how to..."

"How to get onto the platform?" she filled in.

"Y-yes."

"Don't fret. All you have to do is walk straight at the barrier between platforms nine and ten. It's Draco's first time, too." Her face shifted, "May I ask, where's your family?"

"I... They're not here."

Draco shifted his weight at these words.

She nodded and kindly asked, "What's your name?"

"My name's Harry. Harry Potter, ma'am."

The eyes of the entire family widened.

Narcissa recovered first, "My name's Narcissa Malfoy. That's my husband Lucius and daughter Y/n. Draco, come introduce yourself."

Draco's steps were stiff.

"Oh, you see, the thing is, Mrs. Malfoy, Draco, and I have sort of already met."

"Really?" She turned to her son, silently demanding to know why he never mentioned the previous encounter.

"In Diagon Alley, actually," Harry continued. "We were in Madam Malkin's." He decided to leave out the part where Draco sarcastically apologized when he heard that Harry's parents were dead, then insulted Hogwart's gamekeeper and muggle-born wizards.

"How nice," Narcissa smiled. "We must be on our way now, the train will leave without you two. Oh, and remember, don't be afraid that you'll crash into the wall and don't stop."

The two boys nodded. Harry gestured for Draco to go first and followed suit once he had.

Harry could see steam fogging the crowded area of Platform 9¾. The rest of the Malfoy family came in after the boys. Mrs. Malfoy gave her son a hug, which he disgustedly shrugged off. However, he gave his younger sister a short but meaningful hug. Narcissa gave Harry a sweet goodbye as well. Harry even gave a small smile and nod to the youngest Malfoy, which made her blush. Draco rolled his eyes as his sister's actions, and when the train whistle blew, the pair climbed aboard and grabbed a compartment together. As they started putting their belongings away, two identical twins came in and offered their assistance. Harry took it gratefully, but Draco scoffed at their kind offer. One of the twins-was it Forge?-ended up helping Draco anyway. The twins soon discovered that one of the people they had helped had been the Harry Potter. Draco shifted almost as uncomfortably as Harry. Before the red-heads could think of saying anything else, their mum had called for them, and they were gone.
