Throughout the night you fell into such a deep sleep that you didn't wake up until Heejin came walking into your room and woke you up figuring you were hung over since you slept until 11 by yourself. She wasn't supposed to be home for another two days so after eating a snack labeled breakfast you sat in the living room and asked why she was home so soon.

"Dad seemed to be in a weird mood as soon as i got there and it only got worse as time went on." She explained.
~ she had never had a great relationship with her parents but since moving away had hoped it would get better with them not being around each other constantly.
With a slightly saddened look on her face she continued.
"He just kept making huge arguments over the tiniest things and brought up the past ignoring that i was there to celebrate his birthday and have a good wholesome time."
You could tell she was having a hard time holding back tears so you moved over to the couch she was on and put your head on her shoulder because she had always taken care of you.
She continued to talk about her cut off travels and it reminded you of when you first met.
After she came to a comfortable stopping point in her rant, she asked why you had slept so late because it wasn't like you. you were an early bird unless you were hung over or were going very short on sleep.
Thinking about it to yourself you didn't even know why you slept so late? You had a foggy memory and it took you some time going about your day to go through your mind and even recall yesterday's events.
You and heejin didn't exactly feel like going out but it was sunday and you wanted to get something done.
While heejin unpacked her bags and tidied up her room you put on your favorite kpop playlist.

As you went around the apartment singing the lyrics just a bit off tune you folded up blankets, picked up any stray clothing items and came across your small backpack that you had dumped on the side table.

You prepared yourself to be laughed at and told her you knew she wasn't going to believe you.
