The unexpected

Chapter 3: TOP

As I was running away from the situation, I bumped into Mr. Chan and said that he wanted to talk to me. "I want to talk to you about your grade." We went to his office to talk privately, as I sat down, I felt the atmosphere tense making me nervous. "All your straight A's are slipping into B and worse some of them are C," He announces so sternly. I was in shock about his announcement as he handed me all my records and previous scores to undermine his point.

I was on the verge of crying. I always had a perfect score and now my grades are slipping. "I have a proposal, if you don't mind being paired with another top student to help get back on your track again," he suggested.

That sentence broke me. I never knew I needed help for my grade. Still, I accepted the offer. "That is great to hear, you will be paired with the 2nd Ranked student of the school. My mind went blank as I remembered that the student in 2nd rank is the person that I hate the most. I left the office with disbelief, I really can't believe my grades are falling. Optimistically, it can help me find a way to make him suspended from the team.

The class ended but I still needed to go to the council office to arrange some documents. I was to focus on arranging the stuff until I realized the whole building was locked.

It was already 9 pm. I kept on running to find another exit, but nothing was found. I tried calling Jeongin for help, but he had already left the school and was in another town. I also called Hyunjin but to-no-good he was on a trip with his friends to buy the new book that just came out..

It was so dark, I was hyperventilating because I'm really scared in the dark, until someone bumped into me. I immediately hugged that person without knowing who they were. I immediately calmed down and looked up only to see Minho in front. He had worried eyes and hugged me more tightly. I released from the hug and asked him "Why are you here?" he answered me "I was looking for you, you are my partner right?"

We were now sitting in the corridor as we were tired from looking for a way out. I was really dozing off and slept on his shoulder without knowing. After a short nap I woke up and noticed that he also fell asleep. I put his head on my shoulder and noticed how beautiful this man is. My heart beats like crazy, it seems like I am falling for him.

I suddenly shouted, making him wake up. We were there for almost 2 hours until we saw a light outside signaling that there was a person that could help us. We ran like crazy and the doors were unlocked by the guard having his last inspection.

I was to go home, until he suggested that he would take me home since he had a car parked near the building. I hesitated, but since I am so tired, and my dormitory is 10 minutes away I accepted his offer.

Upon reaching the dormitory, I offered to let him stay there for the night since it was too late for him to go back home. He went to take a shower to freshen up. After he was done, he walked towards me as if he was going to kiss me. I bumped into the bed making me fall to the bed and he was on top of me.

"Why are d-doing this?" stuttering while I asked him, "D-do you like me?" I asked him again. He smiled teasingly, whispering to my ear that made me blushed "I don't mind being on TOP."
