You slowly opened your eyes, seeing a blurry vision of a worried female, and a tall, muscular-

Jotaro?

And that female was his mom!
You immediately sat up, only to be pushed down by Jotaro's strong hand.
"What the hell..?" You muttered. "Why am I here..?"
"You got hit in the head by a football. You passed out, so I took you home." He responded, covering his worried expression with the edge of his hat. "Yare yare..." He mumbled, watching his mother walk out the room.
"W-well, I'm awake and I'm safe. I think I should go-" You sat up, sitting at the edge of the bed and dangling your feet off the covers.
Jotaro growled lowly. "Lay back down."
You tried to stand up, taking a step forward. "See? I'm fine.. I should probably go before my mo-"
You easily lost your balance and fell into his arms.
You felt your face heat up in embarrassment as you looked up to the muscular man, eyes wide with apology.
He had caught you by your elbows, gripping them gently through the thin fabric of your sweater.
"Jotaro.. you can let me go..." You muttered nervously. He stared into your eyes for a couple more seconds before releasing you from the hold on your elbows.
He swooped you up, bridal style, and set you back down on the bed. You gasped quietly from the quick, unexpected movement he made.
He sighed, examining your scared frame before finally explaining what happened.
"You got hit in the back of the head by a football. You passed out immediately, so I took you home." He paused for a few seconds. "You're lucky you didn't have a concussion."
"..Jotaro?"
"Jojo."
"..Um, thank you." You offered a small, nervous smile.
He hid his own with the brim of his hat.
Your eye contact was quickly interrupted by Jojo's mom happily opening the door.
"Y/n, I brought you some tea!" She smiles.
"Hopefully this will calm you down!~"
She set the tea on the table next to you, holding her hands together. "And don't worry, one of your friends told your mother where you were!"
And with that, she left the room.
Jotaro sat down on a chair next to the bed, leaning back while watching you at the same time.
"Jot- Jojo, you don't have to stay-" You rolled over, leaning on your side with a hand placed on your cheek. Jotaro only grunted in response.
You rolled away from his view, just to see how he would react.

He didn't do much, only growling lowly as if commanding you to turn back to face him.
"Why do you want to be around me all of a sudden?" You asked nervously, hands shaking along with your voice.
You sounded like you were about to cry.

"Yare yare..." He sighed.
You turned back to face him, now looking at a boy whose face was inches away from you. You gasped, nearly jumping out of your skin.
You turned away from him, hopping out of the bed quickly, only to fall forward once more.

But, you were caught by something and brought back to your feet.
You grunted softly, looking up to see who it was.
Nobody..?

"Jojo, I want to go home." Your voice trembled. "...Please."

You heard the raven-haired teen growl lowly, walking over and swooping you up again. You clung onto him for dear life, grasping his jacket as if it were a cliff and you were hanging off the edge.
He sighed, opening the door and walking out to the kitchen.
You looked into his ocean eyes, tilting your head.
Why was this stoic man so affectionate all of a sudden?

Before you knew it, you feel asleep in his arms.

If Jojo did care about you, he'd have to win you over.
