on the chilly night of december, stars filling up the night sky and the moon shining in its glory, lee juyeon was on the comfort of his room, sitting on the balcony while staring up at the stars.
"can't sleep?" said a voice behind him, he sighed and replied with a 'yeah' before the owner of the voice joined him in stargazing.
a minute later, jacob was about to go back to his own room when juyeon asked him something. "do you smell that?" he sniffled in the air and said, "lavender." he said. his roommate stared at him confused, "what? i don't smell anything. and you do realize flower scents are rare, and strong. so, it is either someone in this building, or from...another street? i don't know." he said.
"but i can smell it!! come on, hyung. follow me!"
jacob was about to protest but he decided otherwise when he saw his eyes, it was bright purple. so basically, the scent came from his mate.
not wanting the other to get into some trouble while going to his own mate, he decided to follow him. but he gasped in shocked and alarm when he saw that juyeon was going straight to his mate's dorm room, kevin moon. "juyeon, wait!"
but he realized it a bit too late when juyeon knocked on the door, and a close to crying kevin opened it. jacob raced to the scene, "hey love, what happened?" he asked gently, "bring me my mate!" juyeon said in a demanding yet childish tone.
"m-mate??" kevin asked, jacob opened the door widely and let themselves inside, jacob hugged kevin and tried to ask him what the matter is while juyeon went to a room, which was not kevin's, last time jacob checked.
"who was in that room? juyeon said he smelled lavender."
kevin gasped when he heard that, "b-baby..." jacob frowned at that.
"baby? hey, calm down. deep breathe, what happened before we got here?"
they heard a loud cry and a clashing of metals. at this point, kevin was shaking and crying. "brother...baby... first...he-heat..."
jacob tried processing the information slowly, then his eyes widened. "your brother is here, and he's experiencing his first heat? so he's an omega?" kevin nodded and then hugged him, "he's... hurt... help him... please..."
jacob felt his heart broke at his tone, he sounded so desperate and devastate. although, he still has not met kevin's brother personally, he can say that kevin was willing to sacrifice his wings, if ever he had any, for him.
"hush... juyeon is here to help him..."
on the room where the said brother can be found, juyeon took a deep breathe to inhale the wonderful and calming scent of lavender. "mate..." he said.
he frowned a little when he heard whimpers and faint cries of help, he went to the bed out of instinct, and uncover the omega who was whimpering under the thick blankets.
there, a shivering omega was crying and sweating whilst hugging himself, and the cries sound like he was in pain. juyeon let out a growl.
the omega whimpered and slowly opened his eyes to reveal pale purple eyes, he slowly uncovers himself completely from the blankets and faced juyeon. "alpha..." he whispered, and as the blankets fell off the floor, the strong scent of lavender filled the whole room. juyeon unconsciously moaned.
"alpha is here...what do you need, hm?"
juyeon's voice went two octaves lower as his alpha side were showing and his eyes turned into a dark shade of purple, as the omega's stayed the same. "alpha... alpha..." by now, the omega was desperate to remove and relived whatever pain he was feeling, he was reaching towards juyeon and making grabby hands.
juyeon smiled and held the hand, intertwined them, he saw a necklace on his neck, with a name engraved on the arrow pendant, "hyunjoon...hyunjoon..." he said and leaned in, kissing hyunjoon, going further and further, marking him as he relieved the pain the omega was in.
