"TATA!!! Wake up"
"*groan* uhm! Am awake" a sleepy reply came out of my mouth while stirring around the bed to find my phone to shut off the alarm. Sitting up I stretched before going to start my morning routine, while wiping my face my sight drifted to the inside of my right wrist.
'Tae stay calm as long as your wrist is still blank, you still have a long time, don't worry'. I thought drifting away from the earth to my thoughts. It has been fifteen years since I started seeing the 'time' people have remaining in this world before they pass, and ever since then I always dreaded the day my 'time' will appear on my body.
I was seven when I was first able to see the 'time' on someone, specifically on my grandmother, seeing the numbers marked on her wrist counting down from seven to zero has brought me to great tears as I watched her die in my small arms surrounded by a field of tulips after she saved me from a speeding car. Now, fifteen years have passed and everywhere I look I can see the 'time' on anyone's body if I concentrate, and if the 'time' is placed on an uncovered part of the body.
*slap*
"ouch! Yah!" I shouted at the person who whipped a towel on my back to snap me out of my reverie.
"yah? Are you crazy, I'm older than you and you have been staring at your wrist for ten minutes already, stop it, it scares me when you gaze off at your wrist" my soulmate, bestfriend and brother-like friend, Jimin said and although he whispered at the end of his sentence, I still heard him, making me soften at him.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just went down memory lane and you know what today means, so of course I will daze off" I said while hugging him. Jimin has been by my side ever since I was in high school and we have been inseparable, Jimin is also the only one who has understood my ability and knows of it.
"*sigh* I know, and that is also why you need to hurry up because you still have an interview for that company and after, let's meet up infront of the cemetery to visit your grandma together" he said before exiting the bathroom.
I nodded my head before I too left the room and changed into formal wear for my interview. Going downstairs, I saw Jimin already eating and a plate with pancakes and fruits in front of him for me, I took my seat and thanked him for the food before eating too.
/TIMESKIP/
'wahhh this place is so big and beautiful' I thought while walking looking at the amazing view of the company where I hopefully will be having my first big job. The company is named JCF and it has amazing reviews and opportunities based from what I searched before applying here. JCF is the highest rated entertainment company around the world with all its amazing actors, idols, dancers and even photographers.
Nearing the entrance, I glanced at the giant analog clock located on top of the main entrance of the building, '7:57 ahhh! I'm late, but if I hurry maybe I can make it in the nick of time. I hope' brisk walking to the entrance I rushed towards the elevators that were already closing.
"Please wait! Please hold the door" I rushed to scream, now running to the elevator doors.
'7:59'
In my rush I unfortunately didn't notice the wet floor sign which due to my clumsy self, lead me to slip backwards, my hands flew upwards trying to hold onto anything to stop my fall only to grab air, I shut my eyes in defeat only to feel like nothing, I opened my eyes a little from shock and curiosity before connected to a pair of the coldest brown eyes I have ever seen.
