I saw everything in slow motion and high definition. My heart was pounding ferociously, punching my rib cage unitl the pain numbed my whole body.

"FIROAN!!!" Rain screamed at the top of her lungs bounding towards me so rapidly it seemed like she was floating.

The next thing shocked me greatly because, Rain had just jumped over the edge of the waterfall so she could save me.

Rain twisted her body so, her front paws were out stretched and pointing towards my falling figure. I couldn't speak because of the shock but I was really grateful that someone did actually care for me.

Rain caught me in her mouth just before we were going to dive in the rushing water. As the cold liquid splashed up our legs Rain threw me over to the grassy side. Saving me from a terrible fate.

I looked up to see if she had jumped and saved her own life as well but, she got carried away by the powerful current. She kicked her legs with strength and persistence but it wasn't working.

"Firoan go get help. NOW!!!" Rain cried with fear, her eyes filling with tears.

"O-ok I-I'll go get h-h-help. " I stuttered with fright knowing it will be to late if I leave her side.

I try to get up but my legs were shaking too much. I stumble several times trying to move with all my life but, my body wouldn't obey my brain.

Rain was swept along the water now heading to another crashing waterfall that was much more deadly then the other one.

Oh no!! What do I do?! I-I can't get up. I wish I was stronger so I could help but... Stop she needs you Firoan.

I was right she needed me. I had to think of a plan quickly but I was interrupted by Rain screaming.

"Firoan it doesn't matter! Just stay with me and don't leave!"

"I won't let anything bad happen to you, I promise!" I shouted over the crashing water.

Rain was just a couple of feet away from falling when she whispered looking directly at me

"Your a good kid. Much better than my own."

With that she lost all the fight in her legs, making her body shoot down the waterfall with tremendous speed.

*Splash*

"RAIN!!!" I pushed myself up, forcing my body to carry me over to the side of the waterfall.

I peered down hopefully seeing Rain's head bob up and down any moment now, but I didn't. Her body never reached up to the surface again.

She was gone. And the worst part is, is that I promised her nothing bad was going to happen to her.

I can't be here anymore. Shadow, Fang, and Sunny hate me, there is nothing left for me here. I need to go my own way.
