Alone

"Promise?"

Today was just like every other day. Boring and slow. I was sat in my room watching tv waiting for a phone call." its been three days why wont he call? Ugh im so stupid to think he even likes me he probably-" i was suddenly cut off by the sound of my phone ringing. I raced over to my desk to pick up my phone. Finally! Its Alex. I picked up the phone and when i was about to answer i here him yelling: help! Come quick its an emergency!" then they hung up. I ran downstairs and out the door as fast as i could. Thank god he only lives 2 streets down. But by the time i got there he was being put into an ambulance. I ran over with tears streaming down my face. " what happened?! Why is he in an ambulance?!" ran to his mom and she told me he had an overdose. We both climbed in the back of the ambulance with him. "please dont leave us Alex we need you! Please just hold on a little while longer." i said with short breath from all the crying. I held his hand and closed my eyes. "you promised you wouldnt leave." i whispered. A few minutes later we arrived at the hospital and they rushed him into the Emergency room. The nurse had to keep us in the waiting room. But i needed to be there with him. An hour or two later the doctor let us visit him but he was still sleeping. I was so glad that he was alive but i just cant believe he would do this. He looked so happy sleeping. But thats when i saw his arms. They were covered in deep scars and stitches. So i lifted his arm up and kissed them. "I love you Alex. Forever and always." i whispered. Just then the nurse came in and said we had to go. I really wanted to stay but my mom would get worried. "I'll be back alex."
