Mason’s POV

‘’Is she okay? How is she doing? Can I see her?’’

‘’She is alright for now, and you can see her. But I-‘’

I didn’t let the doctor finish his sentence. I just barged into the room. And there she is. My beautiful mate, Scarlet. She is looking very pale though.

The doctor comes in right after me. ‘’As I was saying, I do have some bad news.’’

I whip my head around towards the doctor. ‘’What is it? Tell me!’’ I threatened him, growling and stepping towards him.

‘’The bad news is that she is pure human now, w-with the knowledge of a werewolf.’’ The doctor says, frightened by me.

My eyes are wide open and my skin turns pale. ‘’What did they do to her?!? WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY MATE!?! I am going to kill those bastards!’’ I growl, my face turning red.

‘’I-I have m-more bad news-s Alpha.’’

‘’MORE!?! Isn’t this enough?’’ I say, absolutely in rage right then.

‘’I-I, she is g-getting more and more s-sick when she wakes up a-and if she does not get t-the antidote of the serum, s-she will d-die.’’ He whimpered.

Again my skin turned pale, rather than red. And my head began to pound. Why her? Why Scarlet? Why my mate? I have to do something. Antidote he said. I have to find an antidote. But first I have to find Ja-

‘’Where is she?!? Let me through! I need to see her! She is my GODDAMN MATE!!! LET ME GO!’’ I hear Jason scream in the hallway. Then he came barging into the room, breathing hard. And when he saw me, holding our mates hand he ran to the other side of the bed and held her other hand. Yes, we are twins, and apparently we are both Scarlet’s mate. In the beginning I did not like that, neither did Jason. But we both don’t want to let her go, so here we are, sharing our mate.

‘’How is she doing?’’ Jason asked me quietly while staring at Scarlet in concern.

‘’The doctor said that if she did not get the antidote for the serum they brought into her, before she wakes up, that she will eventually… die.’’ I said with tears in my eyes.

Please Scarlet, stay alive for me. I just got you, and I don’t want to lose you so quickly. I know that if I lose you already, I couldn’t live anymore. Not without you. I love you.
