Chapter 10

"Why?" Amor is crying in pain.

"Because I cannot be with you anymore Amor."

"Why love? What did I do wrong?" Tears are flowing like a river in Amor's eyes.

Mia was a bit off in the past weeks, but she thought that it's just because she's in a mixed emotion since Mia is leaving soon. She will be going to spend the next two years in the U.S.

They're both happy and sad, but Amor needs to be strong for them. It's for the future. But only a few days to go for Mia to leave, she dropped a bomb to Amor.

Amor didn't expect it. They planned a future together, and what now?

Mia is breaking up with her! She just can't accept that.

"There's nothing wrong with you Amor." She can feel that Mia is in too much emotions too.

"Then why? I don't understand." Amor is really trembling, she felt so weak. She just can't explain her feelings.

If Mia is in front of her she can just hug her, and maybe things will get better easily. But Mia is in her Uncle's place for about a week now. She took all of her things from their apartment and told her that she'll come back a day before her flight to spend time with her.

And now, she called telling her IT'S OVER!

NO! Amor can't accept that. She will fight for her love. She can't just give her up.

"Please love, we can talk about this when you are here."

"I am not going to see you again Amor. I am sorry!"

"If you are so sorry, then don't do this! Please!" She's begging her.

"Sorry. But eventually you'll appreciate your freedom Amor, because you can find your real happiness after me. I keep doing this to you. Hurting you, I don't like it, but I can't stop myself.

"You are my happiness, love" Amor is already catching her breathe for crying so hard.

"Please, let me go, Amor." Mia pleaded.

"I can't, I, I just can't" she sobbed.

"Take good care of yourself. I'll drop the call now."

And that's it! Mia disappeared.

She tried calling her, but she's ignoring her calls.

"I just want to know why Mia?" She texted her. She was really so confused right now.

Amor waited for Mia to reply. She's still wide awake until wee hours but no response from her. She slept with tears.

Amor still woke up early even if she went to bed so late.

1 new message...

Finally, Mia replied to her. She was so excited to read the message. She's hoping that Mia is in her right mind now. She's always like that. Unpredictable and keep on changing her moods and decisions.

But to her dismay, it wasn't what she expected.

"Love, I love you! But I can't do it. I am really sorry, I tried. I tried to accept everything about you. But I realized that I really can't. I can't get over with your past. We will be in a long distance relationship soon, I don't think I can handle my thoughts when I am there. I will keep on hurting you with my words, or worst cheat on you again. You deserve better. I am really sorry, but this is for the best Amor. Please, forget about me, take good care of yourself."

Those were the words in the screen. Amor was speechless. She can't seem to react instantly. She's just there, staring at her phone.

After a while, when she was able to gather herself. Amor dialled Mia's number but it is already unattended. She opened all her social media accounts to reach out for her but Mia already blocked her. Amor can't contain her emotions anymore. She wanted to scream until her lungs is out of air.

And she did.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!"
