Lemons, Sweets and Cough Syrup

The nurse enters Mirins room as he gets ready for school, she places two small containers of pills and a glass of water on the bedside table. Mirin greets her as she opens up one of the containers and takes out a pill from it.

''Why are you so eager on going all the time? It's dangerous for you ." she says, plopping a pill into the water and watching it disintegrate in the water. He smiles, buttoning up his shirt.

"I need to live life to the fullest." he paused for a moment looking at the jumper in his hands.

"I just want the have at least one friend before it's too late y'know?"

"Okay, but please be careful!" she handed him the glass and pill, he takes it and chugs it down. Yuck. he takes the pill and plops it in his mouth. she sits down on his bed and sighs.

"I knowww" he waves and heads out of room.

"I.. love you!"

He hesitates and looks back at the woman, he gives her a little smile.

"Yeah." he leaves the room leaving the woman alone. She picks up his pijama(?) shirt and holds it up to her heart and lets out a long sigh.
