days has passed and euihae's tests results arrived. we faced the doctor as he checked euihae, he hanged his stethoscope around his neck and signaled us to sit at the table to explain something. 

"she had a history of transplant right? we changed her medicine because the previous one doesn't make her body respond. may i know if one of her family members donated her the bone marrow?" he asked and i said i did, "the transplant worked for a while but still failed, she still have problems with her white blood cells."

i looked at jimin with worried eyes as he nodded, "what treatment should she be having, doc?"

"as her cells are abnormal, we could perform stem cell transplant. if possible, we're trying to look for donors or one of you can." he explained in detailed and looked at us.

"i'll do it." he said.

"great, after her transplant, chemotherapy is an option to effectively destroy the remaining cancer cells." he described a few more before standing up to leave.

once the door was closed, i walked over euihae. she was playing with her doll and she stopped to smile at me. 

"hi baby, how are you feeling?"

"good, mommy!" she explained and i just smiled at her.

i saw jimin smiling at euihae as he was getting something from his black duffel bag. he pulled out his black shirt and went to the bathroom to change.

the day went by fast again, same scenario, always keeping our eyes on euihae. we also frequently disinfect the things around her because of germs. we always kept the window due to fine dust. 

until it was the day of getting the stem cell transplant and freezing it to immediately transfer it to euihae, i looked at jimin who's changing into hospital gown. 

i sat on the chair, my head looking on the ground until i heard jimin chuckling.

"why long face? shouldn't you be cheering us up?" he tilted his head as he walked towards me.

i sighed, "you'll be fine there right?"

"of course, this is just easy peasy." he kissed my forehead and hugged me on my waist.

"her body won't reject it, right?"

he laughed and pat my head like i was a child, "mmm, don't worry, they will inject anti-rejection on her."

i held his hands as he stood up. i looked up to him like a puppy, not wanting to let go.

"this is for euihae." he smiled before walking towards the door, "don't worry to much, love. i'll be back!" and then he closed the door.

after a few hours of looking over euihae, they also took her to the operating room. i kissed her forehead and squeezed her hand.

 i also asked them which room jimin was in. i made my way towards his room and i saw him sleeping. i pulled the chair beside his bed and held his hands. he'll probably wake up soon.

i also felt sleepy so i leaned my head on the spare space beside him. i woke up with a patting on my head and lifted my face to see jimin's eyes looking at me.

"do you need anything?" i asked and he cracked a small smile before shaking his head lightly.

"you should sleep, did i wake you up?" he asked, weak.

i quickly shook my head.

"you're brave." i said and he chuckled.

"you're braver. we're both strong for our daughter." he squeezed my hand lightly.
