Now would be a good time to say, Holy Shit.
Holy Shit, there's a truck coming towards me.

"Like straight towards me!" I screamed.
"Well, no shit sherlock!" Ally screeched.Remind me not to get on her bad side. I can't afford to lose my hearing.
"You don't say, Chole!" Gabbie snapped, yet slightly worried. "Run! Please!" She pleaded, split on whether to run and save me or continue with her shouting.
My body decided to accept the alcohol and reject any evident trace of common sense. I knew my life was in jeapordy if I didn't do anything instantly, but my sanity was on hold as I continued tugging at my heels in the midst of the increasing rain.
My eyes widened as I regained full reaction, realising the truck just 20 metres ahead of me, it's headlights blinding me.
Evidently my body was working ahead of me, as my shoe suddenly didn't matter anymore.
Taking my foot out of the shoe, I sprinted off the highway, clutching closely to my umbrella with my dear life.
The truck soared past, as the driver yelled inappropriate profanities regarding my stupidity. I stood there, flustered, and knelt down to rub my sore ankles.
"Ahh, the pain.." I moaned.
- so not worth it.
"Well done, Chlo, well done." Gabbie deadpanned, her voice laced think with sarcasm whilst she clapped slowly, for that extra sarcastic added effect.
Rolling my eyes, I received a smack on the arm from Ally, obviously fuming.
"Look, at the end of the day.." I said as they stood under the umbrella.
"We're alive.." I whispered giggling.Okay, this alcohol, NOT good for me..
