The Lost Family

1- Orphanage

A girl, Kate still not believe she is an orphan. She still thinks that her parents and siblings are alive. She had no good fellowship with the other orphans as she lives in a small orphanage with big and deep imagination. All her orphan fellows teased her and made fun of her. She most of the time stayed sulky. Kate just imagined about her family if they all were living together and missing all the fun time a family used to spend together.

She was treated persecutly and Kate thought that the reason of being mistreated is that she does not have parents to defend her and to stand with her like a protective shield. She went through all the oppressions, but still she was hopeful about her family. She decided to run from the orphanage at the night time, when everyone was sleeping.

Kate was so young only three years old, when she was left in the orphanage that she just have a blur picture of her family in her mind. She don't even know their faces, the only thing that brought smile on her face was by imagining her family alive. There is some story about Kate that brought her to the orphanage.

She studied there, although she was good in studies but she couldn't concentrate. She slept by crying silently, just needed someone who loves her truely and in search of that love, she ran from the orphanage by jumping from the window. She took her dresses and packed them.

There were security guards. Kate said them, "I am so happy because I am going back to my home. My parents will be arriving and I am waiting for them. This is why I am going outside." The guards said, "This will go against our duties and rules to let you go out, without permission."

"I forgot to tell you that Mam Chirstina was calling you inside for an urgent work." She said and the guard went inside. Mam Christina was given the responsibility by Kate's parents to look after her. In the absence of guard, she tried to run but the gate was locked. When the guard came back, the key was in his hands.

He put it in his pocket and the other guard came for the duty because it was his duty time. He took that key and put in his pocket. Kate went to him and tried to catch the key by saying and coming closer to him step by step, "Where is the previous guard? I told him to listen Mam Christina." She put her hand in his pocket and got the key.

Where will Kate find light in the darkness of night?
