The Lost Family

2- A House

            She kept on going so far in search of a peaceful place. At last, her legs started paining and at that moment she saw a big house. She went inside. A maid came and said, "Whom do you want to meet?" Kate said, "Can I stay here? I am in the search of my parents."

           "Who is there?" The rich bachelor, a business man, Joseph asked. He had blue eyes, fair complexion and was very smart. He was looking gorgeous and was well dressed. His beauty captured Kate's heart. She kept on staring at him and said in a low voice, "I had never seen such handsome boy in my life before."

            Joseph said, "Sorry?" Kate replied, "Can I live here? I am here for.." as she was telling about it, Joseph said, "Which kind of people are standing out of my house? Get her out." Without listening her completely, she got her out. Kate cried and waited the whole day for someone to come and give her some money. She guessed that the beauty that glows from his face, also have in his heart (at her sight as she was attracted by him).The maid who was living at Joseph house was very kind hearted. Her name was Nancy. She again asked Joseph about that girl.

              "Sir, the girl is still outside sleeping, it is raining. Can..can I take her inside?" Nancy said. But Joseph disagreed and said her to go out of his room. Nancy went out of the house to see her. It was raining hard. Nancy woke her up and said to come inside with her for just a night and lied her that Joseph had given her the permission to come inside.

           Nancy gave apple juice and sandwitches to her. Kate thanked her. "Nancy, Nancy." Joseph called. "Wait a minute. I'll be back. Please don't come outside." Nancy said to Kate. She ate the sandwitches, drank the juice and took a deep breath of relief. She started thinking about her family again and she slept. When she woke up in the morning, Nancy was not there. She looked here and there. She went outside, Nancy was watering the plants.

           Kate asked, "What are you doing and where were you the whole night? Well, I need a favour." Nancy said suddenly, "Shhh! Don't speak aloud. What's the favour?" As Kate was replying her, Joseph came and said, "Which thing are you begging for now?"

Joseph had seen him which made difficult for Kate to live there and search her parents. How will she made Joseph's mind on living there and what stand she is going to take for her?
