i woke up to the sun barely seeping threw the caves entry point of course the snow glimmered went the sun hit it.. it was cold but okay for being winter i let out a steamed sigh.. "seems like winter hit hard this year, oh well." she stepped into the snow leaving tracks to a iced over river she blasted it gently the ice broke open the water fresh as she drank hearing sounds of something other then prey or dragon humans. she used her echolocation and saw 3 no 4 children in fur pelts seems like they were looking for wood so i hid my self under a tree as they walked by "are you sure you saw something over here azzy?" a girl asked "i'm sure!" the two other kids were looking at the stream witch had a blast mark in it "yo guys! look at this!" a fat kid said "blast marks!" the kid said excited "you know what this mean?? the fairy tales were right!" the small kid started to shake it reminded me of my own kid i raised... those months ago "wh- what if it eats us!?" the kid said shaking "don't be a whimp mike!" the girl said almost belittling them then i had it and jumped behind the small kid as everyone froze "wh- what?" the small kid said "don't move.. its behind you" the girl said but the kid disobeyed and looked at me staring into my ice blue eyes.. and i started to sniff the kid over tickling him "h- hey! that tickles!" he giggled as i licked his face witch caused the other kids to jaw drop.. the girl pulled out an axe and tried attacking me but a took it out of her hand and threw it into the highest tree "double crumpets." she said scared as i started to laugh "crumpets? what an odd word" i said with a chuckle but all they heard was a crow like chuckle "looks like you got a friend" said the fat kid i cocked my head to the side unsure of what the word friend ment "i don't think he understands" said the small kid witch i responded with a tail slap on the back of the head "s- sorry 'she' understands" he rubbed the back of their head "what do you think the species is?" said the girl "i don't know, maybe a strike?" said the fat one

i tried to mimic a smile of sorts to show correct but it came off weird.. oh well they decided to call our species the night fury as i nodded and ran off to the cave no suprise they followed.
