"The kiss must have only last about five seconds but it felt like years. The sweet taste of his beautiful lips made me melt. I loved him. He loved me. My long hair flopped into my face and ruined the moment. He tucked it behind my ear and smiled, the sweetest smile I have ever witnessed.
"I love you..."
The word hung in the air for a while until I returned them.
"I love you too..."
"I've always loved you..."
He didn't wait for a reply he kissed me again.
It was winter and I shivered, my lips were cracked but his kiss was like magic they felt better, warm not cold. He opened his coat and pulled me in, we walked no aim we didn't have to know where we were going, as long as we were together the world was our path. The pace of our walking was slow, I stumbled a couple of times but he caught me just like he caught my heart before it was broken.
I love this boy, my life is only just beginning...
