Chapter 1

Hope's pov
"Ric, I think I figured out what this new monster feeds off and who it is" I yell running into Alaric's office. His head shoots up and he rises from his seat quickly rising to my side "what is it?" He asks "so It doesn't technically have a name but from what I've seen it look identical to this" I state pointing at the picture in the book "and they feed of secrets and past memories" I say

"Seems like you finally figured who i am but its too late for i already know everything you guys try to hide" a deep voice states while it's crunched up face with piercing green eyes staring at me. I feel my head start to get woozy and fell to the ground with a thud. After that, well just a lot of darkness.

I come around and notice we are in a candle lit room the monster is sat in the chair that is at the start of this circle shaped formation of chairs. "Excuse me, why the hell did I just teleport to this dungeon" Lizzie states disgust in her voice
"I'm the mind monster I know all of your little dirty secrets that you don't want anyone to know. Although it's two people who seem to have the most juicy stuff so we will do them the rest of you are boring" then he pauses for a moment like he was making a hard decision "Lets start with Josette Olivia Saltzman" I turn towards Josie who's face had paled and she look like she was going to faint"Jo, your alright sweetheart breathe" Alaric says rubbing his hand soothingly up and down her back
"Joset-" "ITS JOSIE STOP CALLING ME JOSETTE" Josie tells the monster who's holding us hostage
"snarky Las" he mutters under his breath but agrees

"Okay so we all know your friend here Josie is Pansexual I hope you all know what that means?" He states but it's sounds more like a question after a round of nods and murmurs of yes he continues "well she has been hiding a secret from all but her Lizzie and Hope" he pauses for dramatic effect I'm assuming "She has a crush on someone in this room can anyone guess who?" At this last sentence it's seems that Josie got even paler- if that's even possible- and cuddled into Alaric's side "stop,please" she murmurs and everyone looks at her with concern in their eyes "yeah c'mon man she's scared and if she doesn't want us to know something why are you going to tell everyone"Mj states
"Mm... I would but.... my whole breeds' job is to do the exact opposites of what you just said so I can't, sorry"
"Anyway back to the story, her crush is non other then Hope Andrea Mikaelson" then quiet sobs could be heard "why are you crying we aren't going to judge?" Alaric says " because what's the point in people knowing if she doesn't feel the same way" Josie says. A few sad smiles went around the room although the one on Lizzie face is one of happiness -oh right she know my secret.
"Okay the other main secret is about our very own Hope Andrea Mikaelson" he pauses again -what is it with this monster and trying to add dramatic effect to every sentence- "this is one I can prove by this memory that I can project onto the wall so just watch"

I look over to the wall and see a white screen pop up then it's a video of me in my room strumming along to no other song then 'The song' "can you not show this." I ask not even trying to be polite with a monster who is possible about to put the spotlight on me and then mess up everything.

I am sat on my bed when the all to familiar tune starts to play.

"you had no right to show that "I state through gritted teeth, tears are threatening to fall from my eyes I enhale trying to calm myself before my powers take over and I accidentally hurt someone "Who was that song for?" Lizzie asks even though she already knew "WHO DO YOU THINK?!!!" I breathe in but can't calm down "YOU ALREADY KNOW MY CRUSH I TOLD YOU THE NIGHT JOSIE RESET EVERYONES MEMORIES" I yell but then I clutch my chest and take a deep breath but my vision is blurred and tears are freely falling down my face I curl into a ball and slide down the wall. MJ walks over to me "GET BACK I DONT WANT TO HURT YOU" I yell gasping for air, then Josie walks over- not giving me enough time to tell her to get back- and pulls me in against her chest whispering "Your okay" and "breathe with me your fine" then she placed me in her lap like a mother would her child and kissed my forehead and before I knew it I was falling asleep in Jose's arms...
